Old hotel that is falling apart

Rain leaked through room window. Very noisy and poorly-maintained hotel. Would not recommend to others. It was a terrible stay.

Needs Inprovement

They really needed a new shower head. It just shot out a steady stream. The toilet was loose. The pillows were too hard. It was a good location though. The room was a very nice size and clean. They just need to do some maintenance.

Need Transportation

Hotel amenities and staff were fine but there are no surrounding restaurants. We did not have a car and were forced to order pizza. Morning breakfast was your option of a cooked breakfast or cerals.

Power went out

My hotel stay was due to the cancellations of American Airlines flights. The hotel was close to the airport which is what I was looking for. The hotel advertised a shuttle service however I was waiting for about an hour at the airport to get picked up at 9pm at night. Very frustrating. The room was not terribly bad but you can tell it is an older hotel and it had an older hotel smell. During the night, the power went out of the hotel which resulted in a cold shower in the morning and the power was still out when I checked out. There was no formal apologies about the situation nor any offer for compensation. Not that I would not stay there again but by not offering any compensation, it reflected the poor customer service the hotel provided.

Never again

The benefit of staying near the airport for free parking (an advertised benefit) was totally undone when we arrived back to DFW and had to wait one hour and ten minutes for a shuttle from the hotel to pick us up. We called upon arrival and were told the shuttle would be right there. 20 mintes later we called again and were told we would be picked up within 15 minutes. After 20 more minutes we called again and were told the shuttle was 'in route'. It was cold outside and we had been on an airplane all night long and the last thing we wanted was to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes to be picked up. Why were we told 3 times that it would be a matter of minutes???? When we went to complain to the staff we were given a blank page of a spiral notebook that was the 'complaint form". Yea, right. I'm sure that got to the proper people. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Also, it is hard to find.

Do Not Stay Here!

Hotel was old and not well maintained. Customer service was extremely unsatisfactory. however, bed was comfortable and breakfast was above average.

needs improvement

Very noisy, could hear snoring from the room next door. Happy hour consisted of a six pack and a carafe of bad wine. Stay somewhere else.

close to airport

Noisy! Close to airport but so close to fedex facilities there is a lot of noise.

Good Service, Poor Maintenance

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The pull out sofa had no extra pillows in the room and you had to rearrange the furniture to pull it out. The support was broken and we had to prop a bench under the foot of the sofa bed. The remote to the TV didn't have a back to the battery. But the room was clean. Breakfast was hectic with few tables to eat at, eggs cold, potatoes were "Tater Tots" and it was up to the guests to clean the tables.
