Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 13You get what you pay for... good deal for the cost
The worker at the front desk was kind and courteous and obviously works hard. My biggest issue was that it smelled strongly of smoke and I had an allergic reaction to the hotel. For the price we paid, it was a good deal; I just was expecting the "non smoking" room to be more smoke free. It was not like there were clouds of smoke in the room or anything; it was just that the smoke was never cleaned out of the walls, floor, carpet, and furniture when it became a "non smoking" room. If I was not allergic to tobacco, I would stay there again simply because it was a good hotel with a good cost. I mostly want to warn anyone sensitive to smoke to be careful about this one.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 13Horrible Stay
This hotel is very dirty and lacks basic amenities...like an iron. I was asked to use the one iron that they had in the HOTEL LOBBY!!! After I protested they said that I could borrow it if I left my ID. I complied and when I turned on the iron black smut started shooting out. The walls, bathroom and carpet were all dirty. If I had not prepaid I would have demanded a refund. This is the WORST hotel ever!

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 13Needs Improvement
The hallways had a really foul odor. The carpet in the room had a couple of holes in it that were about 6 to 8 inches in diameter. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were really flat. The outside security door did not lock.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 13awful smell, dirty sheets, stained towels!
The room when I walked in seemed like it could be nice. Except that because they are very cheap they do not put on the air conditioner when the room isnt occupied. It is common practice at most hotels in TX to keep the air on when a customer is checking in because of the incredible humidity and heat. So the room was about 105 degrees and smelled so bad that i left the door open for 15 minutes to air it out. The towels for the bathroom were stained with something. I dont know what. But there were brownish stains on them. And I noticed 2 things about their beds. First, they dont use a fitted bottom sheet. What they do is take a massive sheet and tuck it in all around the bed. So while you sleep, if you toss and turn like I do, the sheet comes undone and ends up exposing the mattress. Its very uncomfortable. Second, they dont change the sheets. I left a note on a peice of notebook paper on the bed asking that they change all the sheets because I had been sweating the night before like crazy and I didnt want to sleep in sweaty sheets. When I got back to my room that night, again with the air turned off (i had left it on to keep cool when i got in-they turned it off!!!), I noticed that the sheets were not changed. Just tucked back in. I could still feel where they were damp and again, I used the sharpie pen to dot a corner to make sure. DISGUSTING! Then again, maybe I expect too much from a hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 13OOOOPS!
I had a very important meeting in the AM and relied upon the front desk for a wake up call. That call never arrived and my day was ruined. Other than that, it was a comfortable sleep!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 13I would rather have stayed next door.
Got there late so there was only one person at the front desk. They had tried to charge me even though I already paid. The hotel smelled terrible. The upstair (where our room was) was really hot. The room was ok but not very clean. The coffe pot had a used bag of coffee in it, there was no ice bucket and when we went downstairs to ask for one the person at the desk was on the phone and said she had no idea where extra buckets were. The best part was that the airconditioner worked GREAT!!

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 13I guess you get what you pay for.
Cheap but not the greatest. Not very friendly at the front desk. Would pay the extra to stay some where else.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 13Think twice about it
Very small lobby, bad smells in halls. They allow tree maintenance firm to park in lot, so not much parking. When I asked for a razor - none, when I asked for some tape - none. Not very friendly. TV was poor and the remote was held together with tape, even though they had no tape for me. Pool was not ready to be used. I won't be back.
