Very good hotel for the price

Went for a Browns game and was nice for the price. Valet parking made it pretty easy to check in and out. The free breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and fruit) was a little more than I expected. Nice central location.

perfect for our needs

went to cleveland for the monday night football game on 11-16. the hampton inn was conveniently located within an easy walk to the stadium, and also to a few fine "watering holes". hampton inns are overwhelmingly consistent with their product, and this property was no exception. absolutely met our needs and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

great room for its purpose

We went to Cleveland the night before the Browns game. We picked it for it's proximity to the stadium and the price was right! Had no problems checking in. The hotel was full of fans so the breakfast in the morning was packed but that's too be expected. The best part was when we found out we could park in our overnight parking until 6pm so we didn't have to pay to park somewhere for the game! Will stay here again!

Not Bad - Excellent Bed

Stayed at hotel b/c it was close to Cleveland Browns Stadium. Nice walk. Parking is $15/day, but hotel parking garage we used had signs indicating $12/day. I believe the $15 bought 24/hr access w/key card, whereas the $12/day was limited to when attendants are on duty (8am-10pm, I think). Bed was great - very comfortable!

Great

I looked into staying at many hotels for my weekend trip to Cleveland. The Hampton I felt had the best price and was a close walk to the Cleveland Browns Stadium. We went for the OSU Toledo game and wanted to be able to walk to the stadium and keep our car parked at the hotel. We used the valet parking which was great and a good price and we were able to park the car overnight and most of the next day until after the game and post game tailgating. Also, we checked out Saturday before the game and the hotel kept our bags until after the game which was great. We did not have to worry about out car or luggage during the game. My only complaint was that the walls are thin, I could hear everyone in the halls and in the next room. However I couldn't complain bc it was a football weekend and being an OSU fan from Columbus I know how OSU fans get before the game so I was all in good fun! This is a great hotel with a great price and friendly staff.

Great location

Hotel was in a great location - walking distance to everything. bed was very comfortable and bathroom was a decent size. Only true negative was parking and price to park

extremely courteous

ALL employees were very courteous. Valet parking was extremely helpful. Brought wheelchair out to car and took customer to room. Even gave very helpful directions for next days' destination.

Great room for the money

My only complaint is that my light was burned out in the bathroom and I stopped by the front desk to ask them to replace it. This was around 2:30 in the afternoon. It was never replaced. Good thing there was a small light over the vanity in the bathroom.

great hotel, very spacious, front desk had pre-made packets of every kind of restaurant in the downtown cleveland area. Within walking distance from every major Cleveland attraction

Breakfast

When we got there we were told about the complimentary continental breakfast from 6-10 AM. However, when we went down at 9:00 every single piece of food was gone and there were no refills. We were pretty surprised that they didn't have enough food for their guests. Thankfully this was the only negative experience of our stay.

Just one problem

I booked two seperate rooms for one night, and my guest arrived at the hotel before I did and checked in already by the time I got there. He was happy cause he got there at 3:00 (check-in time) and his room was ready. I get there at 3:30 and my room wasn't ready. Ended up having to compromise and accept another room and we were late to the party. Other than that, it was great, the breakfast was even pretty delicious.
