Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 64Value for money in off season
Other than threadbare carpet the cabin was very comfortable. We would hate to have to pay the nightly cost in the middle of ski season however!

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 64Pros and Cons
The cabin we stayed in was very cute outside and in. A lot of attention was paid to the theme of the cabin. It was much larger than we expected and quite cozy. We were surprised that the tub had jets in it. It is in a great location and we would definitely stay there again. But... I don't know how old these cabins are, but the construction of ours definitely felt like it had been cobbled together over many years. In the bedroom, along the bottom of the wall on the outside edge of the building, plants were growing into the room from the outside. Just a couple, but still a surprise to see. The shower curtain was moldy to the point of being disconcerting. When we checked in, the room was very warm, which initially felt nice. But at bedtime, the bedroom was at least 85-90 degrees, and there were no instructions on how to adjust that. The thermostat was off. We found a floorboard heater that was the culprit, but the knob was missing. We had to adjust by trying to grab with our fingers and guess as to where the appropriate setting was. It took a few tries to get it right. Finally, the two electric stove burners did not work at all. I managed to get one to turn on by using something to hold the burner in a position where the electrical contacts touched, but I couldn't actually use it that way. It made it impossible to cook the food we had brought to cook. The bad things were definitely disappointing, but were mostly minor inconveniences. The place was cute, close to where we wanted to be and a great price. Maybe we just got the lemon of the cabins, but we will stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 64Great room for the money
This was a cheap and convenient place to stay right in Aspen. We only had to walk about 4-5 blocks to get to "downtown" Aspen, we had parking, a kitchenette, cable and all of the amenities of a typical hotel room in a cute little cottage. What more could you ask for!?!?

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 64Incidentals Charge
I loved the cabin that we got and would recommend this place to anybody. It would have been nice for them to tell me that they were going to put a hold on my credit card for "indidentals" which took four days before the pending transaction was removed from my card, but other than that, it was great!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 64Unbelievable Deal in Aspen
I booked this place because it looked very cute in the pictures, and we were only going to be there for one night, and the price was incredible! The location is great, it is not in the town/shopping area, but only a few blocks away, within walking distance, and there is a bus stop right in front. The cabins look a little strange on the outside- they're all different colors with a second color for trim. I think they are fairly old, but the inside doesn't show it at all, they've all been nicely renovated, with only a few small things left for improvement... The mattress was not very good, (certainly had seen some wear,) but that being said I felt okay after sleeping on it for the (1) night. The bath towels are also very cheap. Even though we were in cabin #12 (the smallest basic unit) it is larger then your average hotel room, and there are some really nice details that you don't get in a standard hotel room, like a kitchenette with a half fridge, microwave, two burners, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, etc. You certainly couldn't prepare an entire gourmet meal, but it gives you the option to have breakfast and a simple lunch, in case you plan on staying a few days, and don't want to eat out for every meal. I would certainly recommend this place, and am already making plans to return later this year! The value is incredible, especially for Aspen!

This hotel is near enough to walk and far enough away from down-town to be quiet. Plus we saw a bear accross the street.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 64A Neat Little Cottage Experience
We were in Aspen to attend a family wedding and this place suited our needs perfectly. We enjoyed the privacy with our own front porch entrance. A real break from the normal hotel hallway of doors. We loved the independence we had in preparing our own breakfast and lunch in our cute little kitchen unit. (Aspen restaurant prices are high!)The good news was that being located directly on the bus line was convenient but the bad news was that it waa noisy at night if you left your windows open (would not be a problem in the winter). Overall, a fun experience with our own little cottage in Aspen.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 64Terrific in EVERY way !!!
These are good-sized CABINS about 5 blocks away from Downtown Aspen located on West Main St right at the FREE RFTA bus stop! The shower was small, but the place had EVERYTHING..microwave, DVD, small fridge, coffee maker, utensils, free local telephone calling, cable TV, plenty of parking (but why have a car when walking is so convenient to ALL the shops, restaurants, beautiful buildings and scenery, etc.) The 2 girls at the check-in cabin were extremely friendly and informative. Sleeping accomodations were quiet and quite comfortable. I highly recommend this "hotel" to anyone..prices are reasonable and so much cheaper than nearby hotels..you really ARE getting your money's worth!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 64Outstanding
I was extremely surprised and happy with the place I had. I couldnt have ask for more. I called it my gingerbread house. Though I went alone to visit my daughter in Aspen, I thought it would be a great honeymoon location for couples.

These quaint cabins were a storybook stay while we were in Aspen. They were clean, spacious, and very accommodating. Pictures can't capture the ideal setting. It was a perfect night for a very affordable stay.

This is a very quaint (but very new and up to date) place to stay in Aspen. It is conveniently located to everything and the service could not have been better.

I found the location to be perfect for all or our needs. The comfort exceeded expectations and the value was great. Glad we found this. Plan to return the end of this month and in September.
