La Quinta Inn Orlando Airport West

Badly in need of good maintenance. Looked like they remodeled and ran out of money when they got to the bathroom. Convenient to airport, and bearable for the price, but nowhere near the standard to which we have become accustomed when staying at La Quintas elsewhere.

Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In

We expected a modest hotel since it was inexpensive and near the airport - what we received was the worst hotel stay we could have imagined. Our flight landed at 11:02pm and I called right away to see if the hotel shuttle could pick us up (normal hours are 5 -11). They wouldn't make an exception even though it would have taken less than 10 minutes out of the shuttle driver's evening. When we finally checked in, we were given a musty smelling room as far from the lobby as possible. Trying to find the room was difficult since on our way we happened upon some shady looking characters in the parking lot outside our room door. Needless to say the deadbolt was locked that night! The room was sort of clean, but there was a dead moth on one of the beds and I tried not to look closely at anything from that point on. The continental breakfast was edible, but the lobby smelled weird. We cancelled our room for the night before our departure flight at stayed at another hotel - only $30 more and well worth it!

worst customer service ever!

i called them to send me a tv control cuz there's none in the room, the front desk lady told me no one can come to my room cuz everyone went home and wont be back till the next day. what?

Needs Improvement

I just read good things about La Quinta. I was under the impression that it is comparable to Sleep In or similar hotels. This hotel was in bad shape. It looks like they bought an old motel and changed the name. We had hair in our sink and shower and a bad smell from the carpet and air condition. I would not recommend it. Not even for one night at the airport. There a cheaper and better hotels in this neighborhood.

Convenient Hotel

It was clean, and there was a good rate for the room. The free shuttle to the airport was what attracted me to the hotel, however; I did not realise that there were mainly all outdoor rooms.

La Quinta

When we booked the hotel online we asked for a King room with No Smoking. We got a room with double beds and No Smoking. One of the elevators was down, and they general upkeep of the hotel was poor.

Good room for Money - Needs Improvement

I recently stayed at this Inn. The condition, staff and price were great. The only thing I found was from the room being closed up, when we walked in it was very musty, moldy smelling. Three of us suffered all night with our allergies. They need to check on these conditions.

Did not get what I asked for.

We asked for a King non-smoking, When we arrived they had none so we had to settle for queen non smoking. Very irritating.

Flop house

The place was filthy. The room coffee pot was filthy. The shower was both filthy and moldy. Save your money and pick up a refrigerator box and stay under a bridge. The accomodations will be better.

Maintenance problems

I found the following problems in my room: 1) Telephone broke; 2) Sink drainpipe clogged; 3) Ar conditioner controller not working properly
