Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 198Great room for the money
The place was under renovation so I thought the price was good for what we got. The beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept on. The room was clean and high class. The Continental Breakfast was very good.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 198Exceeded Expectation
I was very impressed with the hotel. The rooms was very clean and well maintained. Well worth the price. My only negative experience was the check-in,the lady up front seemed to be having a bad day. Oh and I had to pay extra for parking. However, overall, it a pleasant stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 198Great Room, Great Rate
I was presently surprised at the room. I am always a little scared to book rooms online as the hotel pictures can be deceiving. The hotel was very clean, and very close to Hollywood and Universal Studios where we were visiting. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and the bed was very comfortable. I was even surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator. Parking was an extra nightly fee that is not advertised, however, worth every penny. The lot is very secure with a guard on duty so you know you and your vehicle will be safe. Overall I would stay here again and recommend staying here. Great value and great hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 198Needs improvement on the North Side of building!
I booked two rooms & because they were full up they put us in rooms on the noisy side of the building!{N.Side} I have advised them that we were not happy with the last stay as a result of that. I also told them that the new carpets are emitting a rubber type odor!

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 198Very convenient to Metro
What's not mentioned in the Hotels.com listing is how convenient this hotel is to the Metro! We were able to leave the car at the hotel and ride the Metro to Universal Studios and to Mann Theatre. Way better than having to drive in crazy LA traffic. There is a fifteen dollar charge for parking that is not mentioned in hotel info, but it beats having to drive!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 198Great room for the money
When I got there I was not so sure if I wanted to stay there cause of the nieghborhood it was in but once I saw that it was gated I felt alittle better. The hotel was pretty clean and quiet. The room was a decent size and pretty clean as well. We were on the third floor and still refused to sleep with the sliding glass door open cause we were afraid someone would try breaking in off the streets, but other then that it was a good stay for the price. I would stay there again!!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 198Room needs update
Carpet in room was torn and stained. Piant on walls was dammaged. Hallways, reception area and restaurant were all highly satisfactory. Have stayed here before. Did not find the personnel to be unfriendly. In fact they were quite helpful.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 198AWESOME HOTEL
The only problem I had with this hotel was You had to pay $16.50 a day to park in it's parking lot. The front desk representative made it sound like your car would end up on blocks in their neighborhood. I was pretty sure it wouln't, but I there wasn't much of a choice. The continental breakfast was awesome. Fresh eggs, waffles cooked to order, fruit, juices, morning television. They problably paid for the breakfast with the parking fee. Nightly entertainment in the bar: Jazz, Popular comedians. The bartender played. Full restaurant, event ballroom, pool. Worth every cent, maybe even more.
