The Grand Del Mar

Amazing

This hotel is so service oriented that you could want for nothing. Valet, front desk, F&B, managers. We were so well taken care of during our stay; we felt like special guests but that is just how everyone at The Grand treats all guests! The serenity at the hotel allows you to just relax and let someone else take care of everything. Just amazing.

This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. They spared no expense with attention to detail in every area. The pools are amazing!

A gorgeous find!

This hotel is an absolute beauty! The ambiance, the staff, the service, the location....everything was luxurious. The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and soaking tubs. The workout facility is also quite amazing. You could even enjoy a hike around the surrounding areas.

When you want to treat yourself. Stay at the Grand Del Mar Hotel! BEAUTIFUL! PLEASANT! EXTRAVAGANT! We only stayed one night, but there are so many things to do.

A genuine treat

Everyone at the hotel was extremely pleasant, helpful, and friendly, which adds so much to the beautiful atmosphere. I was a little surprised that the resort is not on the ocean, but it was well worth it nonetheless.

Impeccable, an excursion to similar to a stay at an Italian Villa

Yes, it is a resort. With all the bells and whistles as resort can offer . . .and yet, the Grand Del Mar has the feel of an intimiate villa located in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Our room overlooked a manicured garden. The service was outstanding. A must stay . . . even if for a weekend. We are planning a week stay in the winter.

Beautiful Resort

This breathtaking resort felt like we had escaped to some exotic location in the Mediterranean. The staff was helpful and genuine and the hotel was surprisingly kid friendly. The pools were amazing - especially a toddler wading pool ranging from 6" to 1' which gave us (parents) an opportunity to relax on a lounge chair less than 3 feet away. They also have croquet, hiking trails, golf, and numerous fire pits to enjoy in the evening - they will even bring out marshmallows for the kids to roast!

This is how Italy ought to be.

Grand is an understatement for this resort. Everything about it is top notch. The staff has been very well trained from the first greeting to the last farewell, that is, if you ever leave. You won't want to. Food was excellent. The spa is fabulous. Rooms are lovely, large, comfortable. The golf course is a former public course but has been upgraded. It is overpriced for what it is, but is still a challenging course. We will be going back!
