Needs Improvement

We were very diapointed as we have stayed here before. The lighs were burned out at the sink area. The toilet seat was falling off. When we intered the room there was a smoking order. It was a non smoking room. The sink was pluged up. Th person who checked us in was very rude. We will never stay there again.

very noisy

I have been very satisfied with the hotels that I have booked with Hotels.com, but this time we had a terrible experience. The hotel was very old and needs improvements. Our biggest complaint was it was very noisy. There were other quest talking outside our room for over 3 hours. I called the front desk and they called their security people (who were roaming from 4 other hotels in the area) to check out the noise. But when they came they had gone into their rooms, but after security left they were out again. I called the front desk 3 or 4 times, finally I asked to be moved. IT was 11:30 at night and we had to pack up and move in order to get any sleep.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

BEDS WERE UNCOMFORTABLE, NOISY PLACE, COULD HEAR WATER RUNNING FROM OTHER ROOMS. ROOM SMELLED, POOL AREA WAS NICE THE MONEY THAT THEY MAKE THEY SHOULD PUT SOME BACK INTO THE ROOMS AND BRING THEM UP TO DATE.

Old and outdated

Staff is great. Hotel is old and outdated.

Not Cool

This hotel allowed a wedding reception with mariachi music so loud you could hear it from the street. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and the front desk gave me two inactive keys after I waited for quite some time to get checked-in. The beds were comfortable and we slept fine but I was overall unhappy with our experience. Our trip was for the zoo and just for one night but that was long enough.

great room for the money

this hotel was really clean the staff was really nice the only thing i was not satisfied was the comfort of the bed it was hard our backs hurt but over all it was good for the price would not stay again

Need Improvement

From the customer ratings I had read - I expected better.

REALLY needs improvement!

For the money we spent on the room we could have paid about thirty dollars more and been in a 5 star hotel down town San Diego. You'd think the rates the King's in is charging for their rooms they'd be able to put money back into the property. Our air conditioner didn't work and maintanance had to be called. The sink drain and the shower drain did not drain the water so it would puddle up around your feet.....gross! Parking was horrible both nights we stayed we couldn't park in front of our room. The TV was old with very few channels and the pillows we very small and not very comfortable. Overall we did not enjoy our stay and we will never stay there again.

Beware!!! These people leave your room open all day

On our third day we returned to our room to find the door left open and we had an item stolen!! When Front desk informed we had to wait 30 mins for someone to come, they confirmed the last person was the cleaning staff, the manager promised to make good the loss but then changed his mind. We called the police who gave a crime ref but also said nothing would be done. The hotel management said they would get an "answer" for this but I have so very little faith in this. Saty at this hotel if you are happy for the above to occur to you. I cannot say how angry ~I am with this hotel and situation. hotel.com should really look at who they broker for.

Kings inn is old but outstanding.

Arrived early on check in day but no problem checked in quickly. All the staff were frendly. The room was well kept and very clean. The pool was great. The two restrants were very good and the price fair for the area.

Needs a some improvements

Air Conditioner didn't work very well and the toilet needed fixing. Complaint to the office and nothing was done.
