3 night stay

The first thing that happened was, at check-in, the hotel was adding a $5 a day 'Resort Fee', plus a $.75 a day newspaper charge. These to the best of my knowledge were not disclosed at the time of booking. The hotel management said that they couldn't do anything about it. And there were no 'comps' offered. This being Las Vegas and all, you would think that they would offer something.

Casino and smoking

Not your Hotel.com's error, but mine. I forgot about smoking in casinos (you need to go through casino to get to registration desk and to elevators).

Check the Drawers!

My boyfriend and I decided to stay here because of the price. We got into the room and it looked so nice! Since we got in late and we were hungry we wanted to order some food... open the phone book and there is a toy wrapping. Not a child's toy wrapper. We could not believe it! I was so disgusted. He looked in the nightstand drawer and found saran wrap... I'll leave it at that. When I called down to the front desk they acted like it wasn't a big deal and wondered if I wanted to have somebody clean the room or get a different room. If it wasn't cleaned right the first time how would it be cleaned right this time. We switched rooms and we had to haul all of our stuff down to the registration and get a room key for the new room. I was not impressed to say the least.

Room was fine, customer service was not.

We had Two rooms for 8 days. Both rooms had plumbing issues. They fixed promptly, but all other customer service was poor. Many hidden charges. Call this hotel and get the details before you book. I would not stay here again.

Smoky room and uncomfortable beds

We were given a room on a floor that was labeled non-smoking but the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Good Hotels slipping

I expected better from a nice hotel like this one than to have to pass dirty room service dishes repeatedly for 5 hours during my friend's wedding reception on the top floor. You would think they would care more. Most other things were nice, but that got on my nerves.

Needs Help

The Hotel parking is way out of the way and no one offered to help with the luggage. The guests must drag their luggage through the entire casino to get to the elevators. The elevators at the garage area were not functioning. The couch in the room was filthy. I had to call the maintenance and have it changed. The Hotel smells like an ashtray although the room did smell okay. There are limited TV channels and the cost of the movies is ridiculous. Most of the restaurants are not open until after 4:00 pm, so unless you are happy with a buffet or TGI Friday's, you are out of luck. The cost of the Hotel compared to most of the Hotel on the Strip was too high especially during these times when all of the other Hotels were vying for our business. We did decide to stay there for convenience's sake since we had a class in the Hotel. Otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else that was better and on the Strip for less.

Lots of extra charges

Did not like the $5.00 per night "resort fee" paid to hotel at check out. Did not like the $12.99 per 24 hour charge for internet access. Great place with lots and lots of extra charges.

"hiden fees"

Long distent calls over charged Hiden fees per day stayed!And thay dont care if your ok with it or not!!! Bad PR yes Verry BAD PR...! I will not go back their sorry I stayed their. the room was nice, but not worth the experience very disappointed with the P.R. ...

Large Rooms, Quiet, Pleasant Staff, but....

We stayed at this hotel based on the reviews at Hotels.com. I do think it was value for money. The room was very large and nicely decorated. We had a great view of the golf course, and the room was quiet. However, when we called for extra pillows we were told there were none available because the hotel was sold out to children's groups - and in many cases they had 3 or 4 to a room and had used all the pillows. Also, the casino was VERY smokey. To the point that we just did not enjoy even walking through. In general, this clearly was an older crowd, and one where a significant percentage smoked. Basically if you are looking for a lower end hotel with nice rooms, this is it. If you want upscale at all, this is not it.
