Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 131Spacious Rooms and Beautiful Grounds
I would definately go back to this hotel next time I'm in Pasadena! The hotel was grand and clean, and the rooms were spacious. Since I heard this was an older hotel, I was worried that it would look or smell old inside. It was the exact opposite, and we were delighted! The grounds were beautiful, complete with trees, plants, flowers, and ponds.

We were looking for a hotel close to home for a weekend getaway and the Langham was amazing! We were staying at another hotel several weeks ago and a guest recommended the Langham to us: we were not dissapointed. We chose a Lanai Room to be close to the pool. Our room was beautifully appointed and roomy. We especially enjoyed the luxurious Italian bedding - probably the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in! We also appreciated the bath robes and a full array of toiletries. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a balcony and a view of the pool. On our next visit I think we would consider booking a room at pool level for the convience factor. The pool was the perfect temperature and a waiter arrived the minute our towels hit the lounge chair. We loved the large jacuzzi that was tucked away in a little cove adjacent to the pool area. Our only wish is that the pool area was located somewhere else on the property to provide more hours of sun. We enjoyed listening to a lively performance by Cafe R&B in the jazz lounge Sat nite and enjoyed a decadent Sun brunch. The Kobe beef sliders are not to be missed! The quality of the food was top notch and the service was 5 star every step of the way. We felt rested and refreshed after our stay and look forward to our next getaway! Highly recommended!

Not only will you love staying here. You will not want to leave... and when you do you will immediately thinking about how/when you can go back. We spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday and we were in awe the whole time!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 131Good location if you need this area
Beautiful place. Good room. Lost our luggage for a little while. Pool waiter was not good! Food servers in restaurant for brunch were just horrible! Food was good though! If you need to be there...then this is the place to stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 131Expensive, but worth it!
Even if you are just scraping by, like me, but like to enjoy the finer things in life every other year or so.. This place, its employees and the service make you feel rich and famous. Food and drink are expensive, the pool could be larger, but it'a a landmark hotel in a beautiful part of the city.

I love, love, love the Langham Hotel and their staff. It is the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, we were greated with the sweet smell of ginger lilly and treated like honored guests. Our room was perfect, the grounds are gorgeous, the food is outstanding and the staff were wonderfully warm, friendly, and professional. We elisted the assitance of the concierge for a last minute request to help a friend who was staying at a hotel that was unwilling to help him with flowers for his honeymoon suite. The Langham pulled through on this last minute request for us and highly exceeded our dear friends expectations. His bride was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful arrangement they put together. I wish all hotels were as wonderful as the Langham.

Easily one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Great service by employees who genuinely care about your comfort. Beatuful hotel with excellent decor. The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful. If you really want the full treatment, book a club room - well worth the cost. The only improvement I could recommend would be if they built a second pool just for kids. Other than that - perfection! I will be staying here again!

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 131Venerable Grande Damme!
The old lady still show pretty well. This is the old Huntington Hotel from back in the good old days. It was a Ritz Hotel for a long time and is now owned and run by another group. Set in the midst of an upscale tree and mansion lined neigborhood, the hotel has a private, old world feel to it. The staff couldn't be nicer, the grounds are beautifully mantained, and the attention to detail is appearent. The rooms are spacious enough, and decorated in a traditional manner without becoming dowdy. We stayed with our two boys( 8,12 respectivly, and they had a great time exploing the grounds, pool and overall history of the place. It close enough to old town Pasadena, although transportation ( shuttles provided by the hotel) are necessary. Well worth it,especially if you can find a good deal through hotels.com!
