This place is amazing and the staff is fantastic. The only problem, which is actually an ok thing if I would have know, is that it is way on a hillside. Very beautiful location with great views of the city. But at the same time we had to walk up this huge hill to come and go from the hotel. There is nothing up there but the hotel as far as dining. So unless you want to take a taxi every time you want to go somewhere be prepared to get a real workout every time you come and go. But the view makes up for it as long as you don't mind the exercise. Just make sure to get a taxi if you have luggage.

The location of the hotel was excellent. It's just behind the "old city" with plenty of great restaurants and wonderful shops. The view of Lyon from the hotel is simply to die for as it sits on a hill and you can see for miles and miles. The hotel itself was one of the best four star hotels I've stayed at. The room and property were impeccable, and the staff really went out of there way to make sure that I had a pleasant stay. If you're looking for a great hotel in Lyon, look no further.
