I was happy with my stay until I saw a giant cockroach creeping across the floor of the living room. I managed to kill it but it was rather disgusting and I was a little paranoid about whether this cockroach had friends or not. Luckily, I didn't see any others, but it was not a welcome guest!!! Too bad, because otherwise, it was a nice hotel with good service, breakfast included, and a convenient location.

When we arrived at the hotel to check-in, it took almost 10 minutes for an employee to come out of the back and help us to check-in. We got to our room, unpacked a few items and went to grab a bite to eat. When we returned to our room, it became apparent to us that the room was not fully cleaned before our stay. For example, the side tables had fresh drink rings on them, indicating that a beverage had been thrown away but the table had not been wiped down. When in the bathroom, we noticed the previous guest's chewing tobacco sitting on an unused towel, indicating that if the towel had not been disturbed, it had not been changed. Because it was very late and we were waking up very early the next morning, we just dealt with this and went to bed. When we got into bed (which happened each night of our stay of Friday-Sunday nights), we could hear people talking on the street below and car radios playing as they drove by, as if we were down on the street with these people. Due to this obscenly loud noise, we did not sleep well during our entire trip. Additionally, each time we walked through the lobby (which smelled so strong of amonia that you could not breath through your nose), the front desk people did not exchange friendly banter and appeared to be annoyed when you would ask a question. The breakfast in the mornings was not very good and we only participated in that once. Overall, based on the reputation of the establishment, we were extremely disappointed with the hotel, the personnel (except the bellhops, who were very nice) and the cleanliness. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and intend on staying at a different hotel during our next trip to New Orleans.

Subpar! Bathtub had cracks and spots where the porcelain was rubbed off. Shower tiles had holes and cracks. Mattress had a big blood stain on it. Room service was awful. We waited 45 minutes for cold food and onions all over my husband's food even though they were instructed that he is allergic to them. The Ritz should be ashamed to put their name on this food - it was bland and soggy! We won't be back!

Considering this hotel boasts an affiliation with the Ritz Carlton that resides next door, I definitely expected a much better experience. Other than the location and proximity to Bourbon Street, I was extremely disappointed. The bathtub ceramic was worn out in spots and the were holes and cracks in the walls of the shower. The mattress had large blood stains on it. And room service was a joke. They charge a fortune and bring you cold, bland food. When I ordered I made it clear that my husband is allergic to onions and can't have them anywhere in his food. His breakfast arrived covered in onions. If you are looking for a clean room in great condition, look elsewhere.

Small room for a Suite. AC didn't work properly during a very warm weekend. Shower was terrible, never could get it to a proper temperature - either not hot enough or was scolding, so had to settle for cool/lukewarm. Old TV's, no view, but Continental Breakfast in the lobby was OK. This hotel is owned and run by The Ritz Carlton which was connected and next door, therefore you could use their Spa and workout area, which was nice. Also you had to use the Ritz for any dining and cocktails. Dining was at best mediocre and expensive but cocktail lounge was nice.

Stay away from this hotel if you plan to get a good nights sleep. The first night, we were awakened by the smoke detecter battery alarm that needed to be replaced at 12 am. It took 30 minutes. The sofa bed was not large enough to hold our two children. The second day, the maid left our room unlocked after they cleaned the room. We were lucky that we weren't robbed. They gave us 4 beers and said they were sorry....

I am very disappointed in the amount of money we paid for this hotel . People were loun and noisy the entire night; some one pull the fire alarm as a joke . It was horrible. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival.

I stayed at the Iberville Suites this march for four nights. It was a very nicely kept hotel in a very convenient location and I was very satisfied with it until the last day. An hour after my boyfriend and I checked out, we realized that we had left two umbrellas in the closet. We asked our friend (who was still in the area) to pick up the umbrellas for us. He arrived about an hour and a half after we had checked out and went to the room to get the umbrellas. By that time, housekeeping had cleaned the room and the umbrellas were not there anymore. I have called twice since to report and check up on the items and housekeeping has claimed that no one has seen them or turned them in. Caution: do not leave items, they will not be returned!

When we checked in the service was great then a couple days later I had checked my bank account online and there was $264 taken from my account by the hotel. It was taken out for incidentals, unfortunately the lady at the front desk wasn't plesant and was rude when I tried to find out about the charges. I was most shocked to find out I was being charged for parking for 2 days when I didn't even have a car there and took the train! Also they told me it would take up to 15 days to receive the money after checkout, until I talked to the manager and he had it in there 3 days later! It was unfortunate this happened because it put a very sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the stay!

chipped tub, stained counters, substandard bedding, TVs old...about a 2 star. Rude front desk when 1st room had overflowing toilet...had to insist on room change, not waiting for plumber! Pretty disappointing

I am usually not one to complain but I don't want others to have the bad experience we had at Iberville Suites. The toilet was filthy and the rest of the bathroom needed attention.When we pulled down the bed there was HAIR and what appeared to be dirt all over the sheets.When we called to have the sheets changed it took over 50 minutes for the staff to arrive.(And 3 phone calls to get attention)The elevator was constatntly in & out of service,the box springs on our bed were broken so the bed was on a major slant, the bell men never showed to help us with our bags at check out after a 30 min wait, and the staff was usually rude. The one nice thing I can say is that the valet staff went above and beyond and always wore a smile.
