Terrible's Hotel & Casino

Ok to stay but eat somewhere else.

Hotel checkin was fast and pleasent. The room was large but the bed was worn. My guess is it needed replaced....but we slept ok. Ok for the money to stay here but do not eat here! The food was poor and the service was the worse I can ever remember having. If it's bad it dosen't matter what the price. You were warned!

The Price was Right

This hotel is about a mile off the Strip (looks closer on the map). The neighborhood has numerous appealing resturants within walking distance but also some trashy boarded up properties and vacant lots. The rooms are OK but the entire property needs remodeling. The price was low, so we got what we paid for. The Nightclub Lounge was comfortable and a decent singer performed every night. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Quality of Hotel Guests

Hotel guests were Noisy. It was Sunday morning around 5am.

OK in a Bind

We were on Harleys from Phx in 110 degree weather...the pool is why we choose Terribles but the pool and hot tub close at 8pm. Nice pool and beds but the rest of the hotel is pretty run down. Good location but for what we paid, we could have been right on the Strip with a pool that was open later.

ok for the price

We requested to have the room clean before we went out but when we came back the room was not made, no fresh towels, etc. Plus, there was a dead cockroach on top of the bed when we woke up. Also, there was a bad odor in the bathroom.

Needs Improvement

I guess you get what you paid for. I wasnt expecting a whole lot but this was well below the little that I did expect. Hotel is old and seems dirty. Needs some TLC.

"Needs Improvement"

The room was clean and larger than most hotel rooms we stayed in and a large TV mounted on the wall. The only problem with the room was the bed was way too soft and felt like the mattres was worn out. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Had to walk forever to find an ice machine. I could only find one per floor. Quality of the food is "Terrible". The so called steak was mostly fat and the rice I had was so hard it could have broke a window. Make the mistake of coming back to try breakfast. Waited 15 min. to get waited on and then waited over forty min. for eggs and toast after placing the order. Manager did aplogize and did not charge for the meal. If you stay here go somewhere else too eat! The service is very poor, mostly because the wait staff is overworked and have too many duties. You have been warned.

Needs a lot of work

Non-smoking rooms smell of smoke, probably from hallway. Bathroom smells of musty shower curtain.

OK for the Cheap Price

OK for the money. Price was very cheap, so we could not pass it up. Bed was very hard, and I had to call maintenance twice in a 2 day stay for plumbing issues. However, maintenance came & fixed the problems very quickly. Lots of places nearby to eat.
