Super 8 Motel -Orlando/Near Universal

Fine for the price - not luxury

To be honest, if you JUST need a place to stay while at the theme parks and don't care about luxury, this is just fine. But if you like larger towels, fancy shampoo or get weird about a room that has a "used' look to it, you won't be happy here. It's clean, safe and "ok", but for a few bucks more a night, you can get better. In other words, safe, clean but you get what you pay for..

Great for an overnight visit...

I have stayed at this hotel numerous and really haven't had any problems. It's always been an over night stay after spending the day/night at Universal. Location is convienent and price is right for an overnight stay that is close to Universal/Idrive. It's no five star hotel, but it's always been clean and comfortable.

Good room for the money

For a last minute trip this was a decent place to stay. The price is right and it is a hop, skip and jump away from Universal. Very easy to find. The security guard let us stay out at the pool as long as we wanted and even held conversation. The room wasn't a 5 star but it was clean.

for the price room was oke

the price we payed per night was to in quality of the room ok. It was clean, bed ok. They served breakfast, but some creamchease or fruit would of been very nice. Only jam for on the bagels en bread.

Even though my stay was short, I really enjoyed the hotel "Super 8". The location was perfect to all the surrounding attractions and was right off the exit. Very easy to find. Thanks, A Satisfied Customer

Good place to stay

If your looking for a place just to shower and sleep, this is a great place to stay. I stayed here because it was close to Universal Studios and it was pretty cheap. I would probably stay here again. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Needs Improvement

Our room was not up to par when it comes to cleaning. There were sveral area in our room that were neglected with it was cleaned. There were several burn holes in the bed spread and on the furniture. In the bathroom there was soap left in the shower that should have been thrown away. In/around the sink area there was a very noticable spider with web, there was hair and there was something sticky under the hand towel. Not pleased with the cleaning of our room.

Needs Maintenance

Comfortable hotel, beds were great, room was clean, however carpet is worn out, bathtub needs lots of maintenance on grouting, tile, etc.

You get what you pay for

If you are looking for discounted motel to sleep & shower, this is the place. Not the greatest, a little run down, but the linen was clean, the carpet or room did not smell & the shower had good pressure. Staff was very friendly. We walked to the 4 star hotel across the street for dinner & drinks. Within 1 mile of Universal, a little far to walk.

Great room for the money

This hotel is not a luxury resort. This is a hotel that has a bed and a bathroom and is within walking distance to Universal Studios. If you accept that this hotel isn't perfect, you will enjoy your stay. If you are finicky about the condition of a hotel, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a destination resort - this isn't it. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep and shower - this is perfect. It was walking distance to Universal Studios and they even had a light breakfast offering in the morning (bagels, toast, cereal, coffee, juice). What you pay on hotels.com is what you pay - no hidden fees or surprises. The desk staff were very friendly. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great for the money!

Dont expect the ravashing, but for the money it was clean, everyone was helpful, an it was very convenient! I recommend if on a budget.

okay for the money

i was really not expecting it to be as nice as it was. the staff was very friendly and the room was clean. the carpet is really in need for replacement and the door shown outside light in through a crack, but that is the only things that really bothered me and i am very picky about hotels. it was a nice stay for me and my husband and our two children. very close to the theme parks and a clean and nice pool that we enjoyed.
