Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 1 de 9Needs Improvement
The staff were very friendly and informed about the area but our room was dirty. The toilet ran continuously, the remote didn't work and the beds were not made 2 night in a row even after complaining the first night. The bath mats had bacteria growing on them and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below average. The location was excellent.

The hotel is very well located in Montreal. The premium room was nicely sized, but had a very old carpet, which had numerous bunches. These could have been dangerous for tripping, etc. I've never seen this in a quality hotel. If the carpets were replaced it would be a big improvement.

We have stayed at several Delta hotels and always were satisfied, however this hotel was an exception. This. hotel needs alot of updating. The carpet was dirty and torned in places. It was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 4 de 9Great room for the money
The room is beautiful, contemporary and spacious. And it has a balcony that overlooks the neighborhood. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a rave review is that I got bug bites all over my arms and neck on the first night. I talked to the housekeeping manager and she had all the bedsheets changed and room sanitized with bug spray. No bug problem after that.

Tipo de viaje: Rest and Recreation Reseña 5 de 9Reasonable stay but wouldn't choose to stay again
Overall an ok hotel but too many niggles to make it worthwhile. The heating unit in the room was ridiculously noisy, which woke me up every night. The door to the balcony didn't work; not that this mattered as it was a very grotty looking balcony. The toilet in the bathroom was in an unlit alcove for some reason. Due to snow outdoors the reception area got very muddy and slippery due to people dragging in snow and slush. The floors were only cleaned once a day, so it looked like a sty. I got charged a fortune for a 9 minute call to my bank to make sure my account was ok, as the hotel ATM refused to give out any cash - eventually it turned out it was just the ATM not working properly. Definitely not worth it

Tipo de viaje: Not Provided Reseña 6 de 9good hotel but be aware of costs...
The room was comfortable and large. it was a non smoking room but smelled foul. the view was great from the window. the location was key. it was right downtown montreal, within walking distance from the metro. on site parking was expensive. breakfast was extremely expensive. (we thought it was a complimentary continental breakfast because it was buffet-style with no signs saying it cost anything, then there was a $45 bill for 2 for breakfast) be aware of hidden costs. overall our stay was good, but not worth the price we paid.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 7 de 9Dark and Noisy
While the hotel has a lot of potential, the single light in the bathroom did not provide enough lighting in the commode or shower areas. The lighting in the room was plentiful, but finding the switches for each individual lamp was tedious. Every time somebody opens or closes a door it echoes down the hall. While it was great to have the paper in the morning, it was a bit annoying to have it hit my door while I was trying to finish up my night's sleep, the same can be said for the bill that was slid underneath my door on my last morning. The carpets are getting a little threadbare and the bed coverings date back to the 70s, but hey if you're looking for a retro stay, this might be the place for you.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 8 de 9Needs Improvement
I have stayed in this hotel since it began as a hotel. I always loved the very nice rooms, cleanliness and convenience. I have not been to Montreal in a 3 years. This hotel has changed. I suspect that it is not being managed the way it used to be. There are long waits for service in the breakfast area. Very poor/indifferent and grossly overpriced. While the overall look of lobby and rooms remains very attractive, there has been changes. Taking a shower, I found left over soap and shampoo from previous guest. Tube clean but it was not pleasant. The shower head was shifting around in a cracked wall. This was never like this before. Fire alarms went off at one point. I was on a high floor and wended my way down only to find the staff hanging around the check-in. They were just talking, Informed me that it was a false alarm. After walking down 15 flights running for safety, the indifference of the staff showed serious lack of training. There is a different feel to this place now. This can be a better hotel than I stayed in.
