Very Sketchy Hotel

Check out your room before you carry all your luggage up to the room!!! I booked a 1 bedroom villa and when we went to our room with our 1 year old and all luggage they gave us the studio. NO BEDROOM. So we had to carry everything back down to the car (thank god we rented a car!!) and go back to the front desk where the girl argued with my that she gave me a 1 bedroom. After argueing for 15 minutes the manager who was standing right there but not offering any help advised her that she gave us a studio. Then it was they didn't have anymore 1 bedrooms.....which I did not believe as the hotel is HUGE! after advising them they are giving me a refund or finding us a 1 bedroom they finally found us a room. They don't help you until you are rude with them and that is very bad customer service. This hotel is like an apartment complex....so if you are wanting to check out the different areas and pools you will want a car. It is broken up into different sections. Our room was renovated so that was nice. My family rented the 2 bedroom with the jacuzzi tub and it was pretty large and was also renovated. We were in the Lakes area. We had a balcony but there were HUGE evergreens so you couldn't see anything out of the screened in porch. This hotel was just too large for us and we didn't spend enough time there to make it worth the extra cost....we were too tired to cook after getting back to the room. We did have a stove top, microwave, dish wasther but not an oven. My family had the 2 bedroom that had a complete kitchen. Very close to many many restaurants and Walmart. Any restaurant you can think of is near there. But you will want a car because this place is huge. And make sure that they give you the room that you paid for!!! They were trying to pull a fast one on us and that wasn't good with the price that you are paying for a hotel. The plus side.....huge bed in the bedroom. Buyer Beware

If you think you might get a renovated condo forget it. No matter how much they tell you they will do the best they can the odds are against you. I called 3 wks ahead, then 2, then 1, and the day of before our flight and each time was told 'It shouldn't be problem'. When we got there they said 'Don't have any' and could have cared less when I expressed my disappointment. We were told ours was the 'newest before the renovation'. I feel sorry for the poor saps stuck in the 'older' ones. The room had a rotten stench in it that never went away. Everything in the room was very dated and old. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Several nights were spent on the couch to spare my back.They had a brochure with a testimonial from someone from NY saying the resort market store prices were half what he sees in NY. Glad I don't buy groceries in NY. The prices at the resort were realistically about double what you would see in your local store. On a positive note the grounds were kept up well and the recreation areas were pleasant. The location is near the major parks. Don't order pizza from outside even if you get a flyer in your door. They can't get through security, which they don't tell you, and by the time you go to the security gate to get it it's cold. Renovated room would have helped my review considerably. Needs Improvement

1. Interior was very old but clean 2. Houese keeping approach us at 9:30 to leave the room including phone call at 9.50 am (ceckout time was 10 am). 3. Front desk employees offered us a welcome package - in reality they would like you to join a promotion party to sell stuff. 4. Breakfast very expensive

Need Guest Service

Put on third floor with infant, stairs only. Could not relocate to lower floor. Across the drive was construction with heavy equipment from 8 am to 8 pm.

False Expectations

There marketing for this hotel makes it sound great. The price I paid for the room I was expecting just what they advertised. They interrupted our sleep while staying(the staff). Our neighbors were so loud they woke up our kids during the night. I called the front desk, but the neighbors kept up until 2am. I will never go back there. The rooms were old looking and checking in was a mess in it's self. The staff did not know what was going on. Check-in took 20 minutes. I stayed cool, but my family waiting in the car were not pleased with the wait. The rooms were clean though. I'll give them that. Think twice if you are thinking of going here with your family. I am not picky either. I'm quite the simpleton. That how unpleased I am with this organization.It has me blogging on this review. Hotels dot com should re-evaluate there review on this place.

Overpriced BAD SERVICE HOTEL

OVERPRICED. NO GOOD SERVICE. YOU'LL ONLY LIKE THIS HOTEL IF YOU GET A NEW RENOVATED VILLA AND THAT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. OLD VILLAS ARE AWFUL. NEVER GOING TO THAT PLACE AGAIN.

stunk of mold

room smelled horribly of mildew, mold. Slept with all sliding glass doors open. If it wasnt only a one night stay, I would have demanded my money back. Yuck.

looks are deceiving!!

I would not recommend this hotel,although the location was good the hotel it self lacked atmosphere and activities. we checked in early at eleven, but were told check in was not till 4pm we had to come back at that time for a room. We returned at 4 to only be very disappointed in an out dated non renovated room. we called the front desk and complained about the smell in the room and were told to leave for two hours so they could put a humidifier the room. which really annoyed us. I explained the rooms looked nothing like the web site only to be told we were in the non renovated area of the resort. we asked for a renovated room only to be told we had to check in early to receive a renovated room, you can imagine that upset me, seeing how we did. Needless to say we got a renovated non smelling room, which was beautiful. THIS HOTEL RESORT ONLY HAS 30% OF THE RESORT RENOVATED!!!!! the grounds are huge, and they are trying to sell time shares. I would never buy one. cristie

Needs renovation!

We stayed at the resort not the villas and the room was old, and had no elevators. In need of renovation. The rugs were dirty and with stains. On the check-out day, exactly at 10:00 am. the maids were knocking at the door telling us that we had to be out,because they were there ready to clean. Although check-in time is 4;00PM.

Needs Improvement

The room that was provided did not have stable internet, it was outdated, mosquitoes and humidity. My previous stay in this hotel the room was outstanding it was in a different building.

To start our experience at the hotel, after 7 full hours of not getting any sleep, when registering we explained how our family had no rest and we had little ones that were extremely tired, they said that the room was not going to be ready until 4:00 p.m.(We registered at 8:00 a.m.) I asked if they could please make an exception and they said they would try to have something by 10.He suggested we go to the pools, which was ridiculous since we were really tired and just wanted to shower and rest. They never called us to let us know so we went back in and asked, they said they were working on a fully remodeled room for us and that it would be ready no later than 2:30. We continued waiting and again did not recieve a call. Finally at 3:30 they gave us our room (after i complained to the manager) and it was deff not remodeled. Afterwards we wnet to shower and the shower was clogged, we called to report it and 2 days passed and still no one came to fix it. I called again to report it and finally on the third day they came to fix it. We also had to call a few times for housekeeping, for some reason they would skip a few rooms and go to the next. It was quite an experience and an unfortunate one.
