Roach Motel, Ok for the price...

Basically, the hotels in the same area are at least double the money. This one needs serious improvement. I felt afraid to get under the covers in the bed, and was reluctant to take a shower. Would definitely suggest paying more for a nicer place.

Great location, horrible bed

Most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever been in. Also, they don't bother with full bottom sheets, only tucked in flat sheets.

Ghetto

Had people running around all night drinking and partying. It seemed as a place where people went to party. Most of them looked to be 18-20 years old. If your looking for a place to get down it may be o.k. Not recommended at all for a family.

Needs Improvement

The hotel location was great, and the room was sufficient for what we needed it for--a quick overnight stay for after a day long workshop and a Rays game that night. The room was clean, per se, but could have been more comfortable. The beds were very hard and the carpet seemed to pucker under your feet when you walked around. My biggest complaint was that there was a gap in our room door when it was closed. The entire night, even with the air on, it felt sticky and humid--even the bed sheets. I think I would spend a few extra dollars and stay at a hotel with more comfortable accomodations.

The hotel was pretty outdated - no frills or thrills, but it was what I expected for the cost.

The Hotel lobby is nice as well as the bars, however hotel hallways can use some upgrading as well as gym.

Rooms are just not comfortable enough...needs renovation. Was transferred into a room where sugar ants embarked the night stand. Staff was friendly though

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, WE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE LOBBY ATMOSPHERE-THEY HAD 2 NICE RESTAURANT/LOUNGES AND THEY WERE REMODELED-VERY NICE! WHEN WE GOT TO THE ROOM WE REALIZED THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE A REFRIDGERATOR/MICROWAVE LIKE ONLINE SAID WE CALLED FRONT DESK TO TELL THEM AND THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE A 10.00 CHARGE PER NIGHT TO HAVE A ROOM WITH THOSE ACCOMODATIONS-WE WENT AHEAD AND PAID AND MOVED TO OUR ROOM. THAT NIGHT, IT WAS SOOO HOT THAT WE PUT THE ROOM ON 60 DEGREES-IT APPEARS THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER WASN'T DOING THAT GREAT OF A JOB-WE HAD SWEAT THE WHOLE NIGHT. WE WENT TO THE POOL IN THE A.M (WHICH WAS NICE) AND TO THE FITNESS ROOM (WHICH ONLY HAD 3 PEICES OF EQUIPTMENT) AND WHEN WE CAME BACK TO THE ROOM-IT WAS STILL HOT ON 60 SO WE COMPLAINED AND GOT TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T MOVE US UNTIL MAINTENANCE CHECKED OUT THE TOILET (THAT WASN'T FLUSHING PROPERLY) AND THE AIR BECAUSE THE MANAGER COULDN'T RESELL THE ROOM AFTER HOUSEKEEPING LEAVES..WELL, MAINTENANCE CAME UP AND TOLD US THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING IT'S JUST AN OLDER HOTEL AND SO THEY NEVER EVEN TRIED TO ACCOMODATE US BEING UNHAPPY AND HOT WITH A TOILET THAT BARELY FLUSHED. THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT BRINGING IN MORE BUSINESS BY "NOT BEING ABLE TO RESELL OUR ROOM" INSTEAD OF PLEASING THIER GUESTS THAT HAD ALREADY PAID AND PERHAPS CHANCING US RETURNING BECAUSE THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO SHOW US THEY CARE-SO WE STAYED ANOTHER NIGHT IN THE HOT ROOM AND THEY DIDN'T PAY ANY CONCERN TO OUR DIS-SATISFACTION. WE'LL NEVER RETURN.

-There were alot of kids running around and we could hear them all night. -The hotel was very old and the outside would fool you because the inside is nothing great. -Pay the extra money and stay at another hotel where there is better service and a better quality of the room -The water wouldn't drain in the bathtub and I had to wait an hour after my husband got out to take my shower. -The front desk staff seemed as if she had attitude an didn't want to help us. -The great quality is that the check-out time is at 12pm. So you can sleep in a little. ** I wouldn't recommend this hotel it needs some maintaince and renovations done to it then it would be great.

Needs Improvement

The lighting in the lobby area is very dark and uninviting. Having the dance restaurant right off the lobby submits it self to to much noise and traffic in the lobby at night. The second shift receptionist was not accessible helpful or entreating. At times her tone was sharp and words very rude.

Bad Idea

Would not recommend for families with children. This hotel is next to a "gentleman's club" which caught me by surprise. I was not happy with my stay at all.

Not as Great

In hotel for only a couple of days. Room smelled like it was a smoking room but was listed as non-smoking. Moved to a better hotels in the same area for a cheaper price. Will not stay here again

I hated the room it was dingy and the house keeper did not do a good job with cleaning my room. Also the bathtub mat would float at the top when you try to take a bath or shower. the receptionist had a attitude problem do not go here. this hotel is for people he want a one night stand and leave the next day. do not go here.
