Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 1 de 20Needs improvement
Although the location of the hotel was very good, the walls and ceiling are paper thin. I could hear conversations clearly next door and above me. It was difficult to sleep because of the noise.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 2 de 20Uncomfortable beds
Hotel is great until you climb into bed. The beds are uncomfortably soft with hard pillows and extremely heavy comforters.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 4 de 20Mold in Ceiling in Shower
Not only was their mold, there was a hole in the ceiling where water had leaked through. Room smelled musty - obviously from the leak in a pipe above the room. Towels were so thin, they were almost a joke. When reported to front desk, they said they would "let someone know".

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 5 de 20Hole in ceiling in shower with mold
When we went to our room and noticed a musty smell. We figured it was just the age of the hotel. Later we found the 1 1/2 inch hole in the ceiling in the shower and obvious mold all over the ceiling. Another hole was forming about 1 1/2 feet away from the first one. Reported it to the front desk who said they would "let someone know". There was an obvious leak in the ceiling - and not that long ago, as the ceiling was still wet. The towels were very thin and small. You can do better for your money staying at a different hotel. This is definitely not an upper end hotel.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 6 de 20Hotel was nice...
but parking was expensive ($27) and not complimentary breakfast was served. I stayed 2 blocks over the next night and paid half $35 less per night and half the price for parking

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 7 de 20Sounds better on paper
I stayed at the Paramount for a week in May '09. It sounded like a great value: the hotel is in downtown Seattle within walking distance from most places, the pictures of the hotel looked nice, and the price was great compared to the nearby other hotels. The room was definitely pleasant, and I loved the sheets. They also thought of a few little intimate touches (like a magnifying mirror and energy conserving ideas) which can elevate a hotel room from OK to exceptional. However, there are several reasons why in the end I had a negative experience: 1. I stayed there for 7 days, and each day the cleaning service got a little less attentive. In the end, the cleaning lady took the coffee mug from our room and didn't give us any more coffee. (We make our own coffee in the mornings) 2. We ordered room service every morning. (Except for the coffee) However, while we were told that we cannot place our order on the phone (weird), the order sheet that we had to fill out and hang on the door was never replaced. One day I went down to the front desk to ask for a couple of these sheets, and they said they were out! Each morning thereafter I went down to the restaurant and ordered breakfast as take-out, and each time they tried to send me back upstairs to deliver the food by food-service. (Delivering it by food service was of course more expensive) When I told them that since I'm down here I might as well bring the food up with me, they looked at me as if I was the cheapest person on the planet. 3. When we asked about directions to explore some vineyards they were not knowledgeable at all, and they were out of any printed material that could have helped as well. When I mentioned that I may try to ask the hotel reception in the hotel next door (there are many big hotels around) they actually told me that was a great idea!! 4. There is no internet included in the price of the room. So if you add up the price for the hotel, the internet, breakfast, you might as well stay next door in

I travel alot and have never have been treated the way I have at The Paramount. They were rude and discourtesy. Very nice room though.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 9 de 20Nice room but no hot water...
I didn't have hot water for a night but the room was recently remodeled and was rather nice. Probably a fluke but even Motel 6 gets hot water right.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 10 de 20Needs Improvement
Check in was not inviting based on greeting at hotel. Also, parking was $24 for an overnight stay which is expensive. The room i stayed in was not serviced well...broken handle on toilet, the bathtub didn't drain while taking a shower. I mentioned the maintenance issues at check-out expecting and apology and a slight discount but nothing from the person at the front desk. I will not be back to this hotel.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 11 de 20Not worth the money
The Paramount is clean, quiet, has a very comfortable bed, great decor, & has a perfect location in downtown Seattle. What it lacks is good customer service. The desk clerks were not that helpful or knowledgeable. Unclear whether a concierge was even available or if the desk was for the valet parking attendants. The hotel's parking was not clearly marked so we had to park elsewhere (and pay). We found out where to park in the hotel once we checked in. Had to ask for maid service. Low flow showers, wireless internet costs money, and no continental breakfast.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 12 de 20Great Location, Clean Room
It was a nice clean room. The tv kinda sucked (especially the remote control). The staff member who checked us in needed better customer service skills; he was a little rude. The hotel was close to the convention center, monorail to space needle, and a couple blocks away from pike place market.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 14 de 20Under Construction... Awful!
I was awake at 7:30 am on a Saturday due to hotel construction! I spoke with both the hotel supervisor, and nothing was done to make my stay more comfortable. This really was upsetting because Hotels.com guarantees through their advertising that they will let you know in advance if there will be construction, and I was not informed!
