Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 15What kind of hotel doesn"t have an iron?
Showrer leaks, Bed hard as a board, 2.50 euro for a small Coke. Staff was friendly enough.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 15Not a great value
The hotel rooms in this hotel are very small. I was traveling alone and I barely got around the room. The room has its own bathroom but the shower was small and tucked into the corner with a circular door- I have never been in anything so small. Breakfast was meager-coffee, tea, juice, cold cereal, fruit coctail, yougurt, and a few sweet danish. This definitely did not compare to other Rome hotels' breakfasts. The location to the ruins was not as close as they like it to seem. You definitely need to take the C4 bus. Also, you are located on a busy road that has no sidewalk so foot travel is not safe. If you are traveling to the ruins there are bread and breakfast hotels closer.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 15far from anything interesting
the main thing i didn't like is how far it is from rome. you have to take a bus (that you may have to wait up to 30 mins for) and then a train (about a 15 min ride) to get to rome. the room was decent though. i'd say better than the 3 star rating.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 15Not the best choice.
The hotel is located on a main road, with very heavy traffic and no sidewalks so you can not leave the bulding except to use the bus stop in front or a resturant next door. The room was clean but the bed was as hard as the floor and there was no air at all. We had to sleep with a patio door wide open and since our room faced the highway, we had to listen to the traffic all night long. Did not get much sleep. The resturant had a limited menu and food was ok and on the high side.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 15Very Dissatisfied
We stayed here on our last night in Rome because we had a 7AM flight. The picture and the website made the hotel look very nice and the price was good so we took it. Getting to the hotel is difficult unless you are familiar with Ostia Antica. It's a very small town with absolutely nothing in it. It is very far from Rome, so if you are staying here and trying to visit Rome I strongly suggest looking for a different hotel. The hotel looks nothing like the website makes it look like. The hotel staff was very rude to us upon arrival. They also charge you for every single thing you could think of. One good thing was the restaurant. It was very good, huge portions, and the prices were very good. The staff was also very friendly. All I can say is that I'm glad I only stayed there for one night as I was very dissatisfied. It was cheap but I don't think it was worth it to save a few dollars.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 15Needs Improvement
We we walked in we we extremely tired from a long drive. We were however, very dissapointed in the reception room and how old and worn out it looked. We had a very hard time finding the hotel. The waitress in the resturant was wonderful though and she helped us feel better about the hotel. The room was clean but nothing special. It was close to the airport which is why we chose it.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 15Look Again
The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport in a neighborhood, with no other transportation. If you are driving, it may be difficult to find. Room was more like a jail cell, the TV had 8 stations and was a 12 inch portable on a small table. I was told when I was getting into the shuttle van to the airport that it was 30 Euros. I was dropped off at terminal B even though I insisted that I need terminal 5 (Continental/US Airways). I had to take a shuttle from terminal B to terminal 5. Bad experience.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 15Not in a great Location
The hotel was was pretty difficult to find and it wasn't in a great location. It was within 20 minutes of the FCO airport. The restaurant choices near the hotel were very limited. The AC in our room did not work. The AC in our friend's room seememd to work fine.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 15Your better off staying at the airport...
I landed in Rome at 12:00 AM and had to go from taxi to taxi because of the ridiculous amounts they were asking to go the 3 miles to the hotel. Finally paid 30 Euros. Arrived at the hotel which had originally told us it had a free shuttle back to the airport... It doesn't and the hotel clerk said it would be another 35 Euros back in the morning. Hotel rooms feel like hospital rooms and they have the smallest beds I have ever seen. I come down stairs to learn he has charged a group of 6 from Texas 35 Euros ONLY because they are together. I complained and he charged me 20 Euros still not the deal the group of 6 was getting.. With the taxi costs you are better off at the Hilton in the airport and I will never stay here again!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 15Wonderful Staff / Small Room
The Ostia Antica Park Hotel staff were wonderful and helpful, and spoke very good english. This Hotel was advertised to be close to the Airport. This is somewhat true - 10 minutes in low traffic conditions and 20 minutes in high traffic conditions, but there are several Hotels at the Airport. Getting to Rome from the Hotel is by bus, then train, then Metro B. Not much around the Hotel to do without taking the bus. It is fairly close to the beach and to the Ostia Antica excavation. The rooms were very small, barely could accomodate a double bed, but the bathrooms were adequate with a good shower. Floors were not the cleanest (Beach sand), but the bathrooms appeared clean. Stay away from the Restaurant - horrible and dirty - appreared to be separately run. The bar/coffee run by Hotel staff was good.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 15Not a three star hotel
It is not a three star hotel - Our room had a dirty towel lying on the floor in the bathroom when we came in. The air conditioning did not work for some time and it took 3 calls to get someone to fix it. The meals and the room were expensive for what was provided. The staff was responsive to questions asked at the desk, but there was no one to help the elderly or the infirm with their baggage or to help locate their rooms.
