Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 39Great Service, nice accommodations
This hotel is outside of Rome but accessible via public transport. We got a 3 day metro pass, which applies for the bus as well, to get in and out of the city each day. The staff was very friendly and service overall was excellent. And it was nice being off the beaten trail. First time out from the airport if you're taking the train, then the metro, then bus to the hotel it's a little tricky, I would email the hotel and ask for exact directions before you depart. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

This is a good hotel for seeing the ruins in the area or for a base for flying to/from Rome. It's a little far from the major sights of Rome but a nice hotel nonetheless. They have a shuttle to the airport, a nice restaurant, good breakfast, internet access and a friendly staff.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 39Great place for the money and convenience!
I would like to commend Osama, the front desk agent...he was so nice, helpful and professional. The beds were hard as rocks, but the room was nice and the hotel was very clean and quiet.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 39Information and restaurant
I would have liked the hotel to have more information about the archeology of Ostia Antica, and to have been a bit nearer them. The restaurant was good, especially the breakfast.

Other than the beds being pretty hard and uncomfy, this hotel was great for the money. Honestly, most of the hotel beds in Europe are hard and there is no bed like your own, so overall, I would recommend this hotel. It's close to the FCO airport and it was quiet, safe, friendly and clean.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 39Great for exploring Ostia Antica and getting to FCO
The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the best part was the airconditioning - not always a given in Rome but very necessary in August. I would stay again in a heartbeat. But I would recommend a car as the location is out of the city, but it is only a few minutes drive to the airport and therefore very convenient for those with an early morning departure.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 39Close to airport and great service
This hotel was close to the airport, but far from the train station. It was a 30 minute walk from the train station. Do not take a taxi to the airport! It costs 35 euros and it was a five minute drive. Rip-off. There is public transportation to the airport, so use that. The hotel was nice and breakfast was included.

The manager Gwenda was great, as were the receptionists both male and female, but the room was dark and uncomfortable. Hallways were dark and small. Phone did not work in the room. We missed the included breakfast by minutes and we were charged 5 Euros for juice/coffee/danish.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 39Good for the money, close to the airport
We stayed here because we had to catch an early morning flight the next day. The hotel was what you would expect for this price range, nothing fancy but a nice clean room to get you through the night. The neighborhood didn't look that great, but there was an excellent restaurant right next to the hotel. The hotel had a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The only thing I would note is that I would definitely recommend the airport shuttle service to the airport. It costs 15 euro, but a taxi will cost you 30 euro.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 39Nearby Airport
I stayed here because it is a 15 min drive to the FCO airport. Hotel next to highway, not much scenery around the area. Room door thin, was hearing flipflops up and down the stairs in the morning. Simple danish, tea, coffee breakfast. Tub shower did not have a glass door, water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom. Other rooms have shower stalls. Simple hotel, no frills. Not for the travelers who go by foot since there isn't much around the area except for roads of highway.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 39Great Value
Nice room - great value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fine - normal continental style. The only complaint was no air conditioning as it had not been converted yet from the winter setting yet. This presented a problem since we had to open the window and we were facing a very busy street (traffic noise all night).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 39Great location to the airport and beach
Main reason we stayed here was the convenient location to the airport and they offered shuttle service albeit 15 euro/room. They also offer and we used it, shuttle service to the beach for 5 euro/room. There's a great bartender there..he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of in wine and finger food. Definitely would stay here again if I was on my way to an early flight at the airport

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 39Great Location
This was a nice little hotel with a great breakfast. Lovely patio for a drink and helpful staff. There is also a great restaurant behind the hotel. The air conditioner didn't work but open windows helped. Thought there was a free shuttle to the airport, but it cost us 15 euros each way which was much less than a taxi. The best part was a very close city bus that dropped us off (in four stops) at the magnificent ruins of Ostia Antica. They rival Pompeii with less people.
