Service was great. Rooms and hotel need updating. Not the cleanest hotel. Breakfast sucked. Lobby was nice. Served it's purpose.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 11The Importance of a Good Mattress
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was in a very good location but when we sat on the bed we were so shocked we considered leaving. This may sound petty but a mattress can make or break your stay and it was without a doubt the WORST mattress I have ever slept on. We paid a bit extra to stay at this hotel and I feel that we could have spent less and stayed somewhere we knew was going to have a better quality of sleep. If you don't mind sleeping on a bed where the springs are poking you in the back all night I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location was great, but the service is poor and carpet is very old and stinks. Price was very good, but I would pay a little more to stay in a better place. The hotel in general needs improvements. Front desk people need training on how to welcome guests.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 11Stay Away!
I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this one ranks real close to the bottom. For starters, it's very hard to drive to. You really only have one way in because the other way is impossible! One night I had to go way out of my way to even get there and it took me an extra 20 minutes, at least. The room was not completely cleaned from the previous guest. His shorts were still in the room. The sofa bed was unmade and there were no sheets, pillows, etc. to even make it up myself. The safe was totally useless without a DOOR to it! Several fixtures were literally hanging on the walls or ceiling. The airconditioning was filty and inadequate. The hallways were so hot and stuffy you couldn't stand to even open your door. I have stayed at Baymonts many times over the years, but this was the worst! Don't bother.... there are better deals out there.

Customer Service was a great. They made you feel very welcomed. The location was great. The room we had was very musky. It had a really bad smell to it. The air condition did work very well.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 11You get what you pay for!
The price was very cheap, but it is not worth it. Check in is at 3 pm, but there were no clean rooms available. There were at least 4 couples plus us waiting for our rooms. We waited for an hour. The staff did not greet us and were not friendly. The rooms were very clean, but the a/c only blew hot air. It didn't start to really cool the room until the night we were getting ready the leave. The hotel is not in the greatest of areas and there was broken car window glass in the parking lot. The sign stating the hotel is not responsible for damaged or stolen cars should have told me to go somewhere else. But my car was not touched. Spend a little extra for somewhere better.

Only one ice machine was working for the entire hotel (3 floors) and the vending machine was out of water for two days. The continental breakfast was out of most items and when a staff member said she was going to replace the items, she was gone for about 15 minutes and we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. The mattress was very thin and too firm-very uncomfortable. A/C unit was very loud.

For the price, the hotel was to be expected and may have even exceeded expectations, except for two things. The first is most probably beyond the control of the hotel, but may have been preventable with on-site security. I had only been at the hotel for less than three hours when I walked back out to my car to find that another vehicle had struck my car. Hit and run. No note. Now I have to pick up the repair costs on my dime. Reflection of the neighborhood, perhaps? The second thing, and something within the control of the hotel ownership, was the sewage-like odor coming from my bathroom. In fact, the odor was noticable throughout the entire floor. I was on the first floor. I managed to sleep through the night by closing the bathroom door and stuffing towels under the door. I generaly have a rather high tolerance level for things like that, and I would imagine that most other people would have been extremely nauseous. Not good at all.

The neighborhood is much better than others nearby. VERY close to theme parks. The beds had no comforters only a thick sheet with a burnt hole in the middle, (our room had two beds and both beds had the same size hole in the same location). The bathroom was dingy but Ive seen worse. TV didnt have much of a selection. I arrived at 3am and checked out by 8:30 a.m.. I probably wouldnt use the same hotel again because there are nicer hotels for cheaper (the neighborhood isnt as good though).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 11Roach found in the room, and staffsssss didn't do anything, not even apologize!
My husband and I checked into our room the night of 3/12/2009. On the morning of 3/13/2009 before checking out, I saw a roach by the window on top of the Air Conditioner of the hotel room. I took picture of it to show the staff, and tried to kill it. However, it was quicker and ran away. So I called the front desk to report about the roach found in the room. She said that she would talk to the manager about it and she what could be done. By the time, I came down to check out, the girl that I talked to didn't tell her manager about it. Her manager stood right there, so I told her about it. The manager instead of doing something about it, she tried to make excuse that it was not roach, but just bug in Florida looking like a roach!!! I told her that I know what a roach looks like, and I took picture of it to show her. At that point, she stopped making excuse. She still didn't apologize to me, her customer. Needless to say, I was not very happy about her nor about the cleanliness of the hotel room. I told her that I would never come here and would tell everyone to stay away from this "roach" hotel!!!
