The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Ikebukuro station, which is a stop on the Narita Express train directly connected to the airport. The shopping malls are also a 5 minute walk away and there are a ton of restaurants to try out. This hotel costs a bit more than the budget hotel but the overall convenient access to public transportation will save you a lot of time that you can spend sightseeing and shopping. The bathroom might be smaller than the standard American hotels but it was clean and well stocked with amenities.

This hotel was quite a find in a large city. The surrounding area was easy to navigate and the access to public transportation just outside the main door. Numerous shops, restaurants and sites to see so close to your home base.

Great Hotel. I would stay there again. The location is across the street from the Metropolitan shopping center and train station. It is a great place to dwell when you are in Tokyo. The carpet in the room seemed to be clean, but showed signs of wear. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the central location makes it easy to get around Tokyo and outbound places. We upgraded to the queen bed...it seems a lot of Tokyo hotels offer twin beds more often then not.

Very clean, very polite western style hotel. Great location for transportation and shopping access. Easy to get to via airporter bus or train. Not a budget hotel but rates as good as or better than I would pay for equivalent hotel room in Boston or San Francisco. A little out of the way for many tourists, but easy access via Metro and JR. We plan on staying there again soon.
