Needs Inprovement

Major problems I had was going on the wireless internet most of the time it was a very poor signal not allowing to do business and the A/C sounded like a jet engine not allowing me to sleep along with the mattress being very hard. It did have some nice features such as the mini-kitchen.

I would never stay here again. We couldn't even get fresh towels we would have to go downstairs and give back our towels to get other........... Just horrible all around

Stay prior to cruise

We booked a stay at this hotel for two days prior to our cruise to South America. When booked we requested a smoking room and informed them we would be arriving late. Upon our arrival we were informed there were no smoking rooms available. The room was other wise to be expected. During our stay the trash cans and ashtrays outside the main entrance were not emptied until the morning of our departure and only after a travel agent staying there for a conference complained. Because the trash cans were not emptied there was wet paper all over the graound because of the rain.

No clean Rooms

We arrived it took them 10 minutes to acknowledge us and then inform us that the cleaning staff decided to not clean all the rooms that were reserved. So we ended up in a Smoking room w/ double beds after we booked months ahead. Other people were told that even if though they had reservations there were no clean rooms available and they were not having anyone come into to clean them.

Needs Improvement

We chose this hotel based on location and price, since we were arriving late and leaving early the next morning. We didn't have high expectations, but did think it would be clean, which it wasn't. There was garbage on the bathroom floor behind the wastebasket, and a section of the carpet was missing, exposing the tacking strip with nails sticking up.

This 'hotel' is a joke

All the staff in this facility should be sacked. Less than hopeless, they (the front desk) were downright rude and under the impression that you the guest are there out of their sheer kindness. Myself and girlfriend in our 30s were treated like a couple of kids. It took the front desk 'girl' over half an hour to check me in and she made sure exactly what she thought of me. She managed to destroy our night stop over in Fort Lauderdale. When I came to have a shower after a long day of traveling I discovered that there was no hot water. I called the front desk and explained the problem but that resulted in her hanging up the phone. I called hotels.com but they were unable to remedy the situation before morning. PLEASE DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. IT IS DISGUSTING. This is bad service at it's very worst.

Bare Bones Accomodations

This hotel was tolerable for the amount of money that it cost. The room was not terribly clean, and since it has a small kitchenette, it was hard to keep up oneself since no dish soap or any other cleaning supplies were left. For just a couple dollars more in cost, the hotel could make the experience a lot better.
