Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 193Central Location - Hotel Needs Improvement
If you're looking to be in the heart of Hollywood, then this is the hotel. It is just across the street from the Chinese Theater and directly on the Walk of Fame. Hollywood is really dirty, so be prepared if you've never been there. The hotel pool bar was beautiful and even if I didn't stay at this hotel, I would stop by the bar. That's the end of the good. Some function was going on at the hotel during our stay so we had to go in and out the back way ... very inconvenient. Our frist room was 509 and upon entering the bathroom we found the sink was leaking and there was a puddle over the floor. They immediately switched us to room 437. Though this room is considered a nicer room by the hotel, the view of a rooftop and countless AC units was gross. Overall impression is that the hotel needs a lot of updating (feels dirty, painted cement floors and no counter space in the bathroom), brighter lights (can barely see walking through the halls), and warmer decorations (everything is bare and feels very cold).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 193Amazing Location and Pool/Bar
Stayed here over a Friday night Halloween weekend. Traffic was kind of a mess around the hotel but once I yelled out of my window to the entrace they let me right in and treated like a king. Front desk was very friendly at check in and check out. We reserved a cabana room with a balcony overlooking the pool which is also where the bar is. HIGHLY recommend doing this as you can hang out in your room and balcony and watch all the action. Wish I would have known this as we already had plans. Hotel is right in the middle of everything going on in Hollywood so you can walk or take a quick cab to the best nightlife and restaurants. Wouldn't recommend this for kids but for singles, couples, etc...one of the best in Hollywood or LA!

Beautiful old Hollywood Hotel. Located in a great area. The pool is amazing and very relaxing. Yummy cocktails. The staff super friendly and I would stay there again. (and I don't even like Hollywood)

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 193Great Hotel
Great hotel, great location. But in the end, that is what you paid for! My only advice for future guests is that the hotel hosts 2 bars open to the public on friday and saturday nights, including 1 at the pool (outside). Great when you decide to join the party but is a bit noisy (until 2am) when you would like to go to bed.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 193New decor meets old Hotel
I got a the Cabana Balconey room for one night to have the Hollywood feel for my wife and I. The room overlooks the pool area. It had a very modern feel and design to the room. This room can get very loud at night due to the pool being a nightclub at night. Hardwood floors in room were in desprite need of refacing due to scratches, but I the room was very nice. parking is pricey at $30 per night put the hotel location is great you may not even need a vehicle. Hotel lobby is very nice and hotel keeps a drink mixoligist on staff.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 193perfect hotel for a true hollywood experience
This hotel was in the perfect location for seeing Groman's chinese theater, the Kodak theater, and the walk of fame! Also, the pool bar had a great crowd if you are looking to have a good time. Prob not a good place for a family with young kids
