Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 4Housekeeping Needs Improvement
This hotel is beautiful but lacking in housekeeping. Our restroom toilet seat and bowl were soiled, and the bedding was stained. We requested a room change and this was granted. Unfortunately, the new room still needed improvement but we decided not to complain as it was better than the first room. The toilet seat was broken-kept sliding throughout our stay and there was hair and stains on the bedding the first night. When they cleaned the room for on the second day, they had replaced the comforter and all the bedding was sufficient.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 4"Full Service" only if you beg for it
Serious problems with maid service - I had to call for washcloths (3x before I got them), towels, the bath gel bottle was half full (ew!), a lamp that didn't work, a 12x12 hole in the wall(!), a filthy glass turned upside down as if it were fresh showing wipe marks, a pen, ants in the room and something that bit me, and more. When I called because there was no trash can in the bathroom, the girl said "You only get 1 trash can per room." Huh? This is not some roadside motel, this is a Waldorf Astoria Collection blablabla. When I asked for a phone book, I was told "This is a full service hotel" and referred to the (useless) concierge. Here's an example of "full service": of 4 nights, the turn-down service happened only once. One of those evenings, I asked a housekeeper at my door to turn down the beds. He looked at his watch and left. That said, their staff is unsurpassed in kindness, courtesy, manners, charm. Every one a delight. Hospitality is good. But they are so not doing their job. This even after I had talks with the Front Desk and Housekeeping Mgrs.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 4Watch Out For Different Room Layouts
I paid for a 2 bedroom queen suite thru hotels dot com and did not get a suite at all. I was not satisfied with the experience thru Hotels dot com nor the Waldorf Astoria at all.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 4New Hotel working out the bugs
You could tell this hotel is new. The first room we were put in didn't have trash cans or a door on the bathroom. In the standard rooms, there is no bathtub, just a shower. I didn't care for the beds either, woke up each day with soreness in my back and the pillows are less than desirable as well. Came in one night after 5pm and the room still had not been cleaned. Beautiful hotel, but they have some work to do to make it worth the money. I expected more from a Waldorf hotel.
