I paid to stay in the chairman tower. No rooms were available. So we stayed in the Taj tower. The second night the hotel switched me to the chairman tower however the toilet wouldn't flush. The plumber took an hour to come service the toilet. I was not satisfied with this stay. I expected more from a four star hotel.

There were several other hotels to choose from for much less money. Wireless access costs #12.99 per day! Parking is extra. Our ocean view room mostly looked over roof tops. It was absolutely freezing in the beffet, I think this was so folks did not stay too long! The breakfast sandwich at I Go was awful rock hard biscuit! The outside balconies look they have never been cleaned which made them had to enjoy. There are two roof top hot tubs that looked wose than ours at home, I was expecting something built in. Just not worth the money!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 53Very noisy due to constant announcement
Very noisy due to constant commercial announcements going on throughout the lobby levels, Had to walk a lot from parking garage to the lobby and elevators. The room was clean and confortable but cold water foucet did not work. Took us a day to get used to the environment. Even though the hotel is elegent, due to the noise I lost interest in it.

The room was actually in the Taj Mahal tower not the chairman tower. The room was big but not well maintained. I had a grand suite which was not up to my standards of cleanliness and maintenance wise. The couch had a big stain on it, the shower had mildew, the ceiling was cracked. The room looked old and needed some updates. The bell staff was unknowlegeable about the hotel, the front desk staff was unfriendly and acted like you were bothering them. Overall it was an Ok hotel. I will not stay there again, I was expecting a much nicer, cleaner hotel for the money that they charge per room.

Upon arriving to our room, what was to be an ocean view turned out to be all roofs. I contacted the hotel desk to be told the hotel was completely book and were unable to correct until the following day. I had read a review for a hotel in which hotels.com settled a matter before I had left for Atlantic City. Remembering this I called hotels.com. They put me on hold while they discussed matters with the hotel, within 15 min. I was sitting in a ocean view room. My experience with the hotels all around staff was not good. I plan on returning to Atlantic City, but I will not be staying at the Trump Taj Mahal.

The cost of the hotel led me to have high expectations. The room we booked was dirty so we were able to move to another room that was an upgrade. Both bedspreads were dirty. The second room was an improvement, but not worth the cost.

I arrived at the Taj and paid 5 dollars for parking. I did not get a receipt. I left and came back and paid another 5 dollars. Left again to go to trump plaza and was told i could park for free if i have a room at the taj. Wasted Money. The room was awesome, huge (grand suite) but the lamps did not have bulbs and waited actually still waiting for wash cloths. Housekeeping there is a complete joke. I won 400 bucks though....next time ill stay at the holiday inn.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 53Not what you pay for!
For a 4star hotel, this hotel does not measure up. Staff very rude. When asking for a request of room location, you get the very least. Waiting in line to check in reminded me of cruise lines. Plus the hotel in general is in need of repair. No wonder Donald Trump is bankrupt again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 53Not worth the money!!!
I stayed for two days at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. I reserved the Grande Suite. I arrived late about 11:30pm and decided to the room and just go to bed. In the morning when I woke up I decided to take a shower, only to find a pair of panties hanging from my bathroom door knob. I immediately took them down to the front desk and asked to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor on duty was very warm and understanding. She upgraded our room to the Chairman Suite and gave us comp meal passes to dine. I will never stay in the Taj Tower again. I might consider the Chairman Towers but I am really displeased with the hotel and its definitely not worth the money!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 53Not worth the rate
We switched rooms 3 times and even the 3rd room was not satisfactory. The 1st room had a parking lot view and I almost got trapped in the toilet because the door got stuck. The 2nd room we moved had a better view but the air conditioner was leaking that got carpet soaking wet and got my bag wet and the 3rd room had the same problem as the 1st room and this time you cannot even close the door to the toilet. We had to wait for maintenance to fix it and ended wasting almost a day switching rooms and waiting.

When we got there we were told our room was not ready yet, but would surely be available by 3:00 pm. We came back at 5:00 pm and still were told it was not cleaned up yet. We finally had to accept another room. The lines were very long and had to wait for everything. The pool was overcrowded with kids playing beach balls supplied by the hotel. The jacuzzi/hot tub was outside and only fitted two people comfortably. The water was flat and not properly filtrated. The hotel it's ok but I would try somewhere else.
