Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 60"Needs Improvement"
The hotel was Great for the money we spent, but if we would have paid full price for a supposedly 3 1/2 star hotel, I would have been highly disappointed! The hotel was old and had many stains in the carpets throughout! Needs new flooring! We had to ask where the pool was located, and the one worker we asked didn't even know they had an indoor pool!!! The walls were paper thin, could hear everything around us! Like I said great for the price we paid, but would not pay full price!!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 60Not what I would expect
We reserved a nonsmoking room but given smoking. There were ciggarette ashes left in the room. Dirty windows and a tiny bathroom. Average height people had to squat to fit under the showerhead. Hot tub was lukewarm and filled with dead skin and hair. However, the view was great and the beds were comfortable. Overall, a let down.

Average hotel overall. Disappointied in no free wi-fi, I think this should be included.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 60Overrated!
First of all, the hotel advertises itself as "across from the Sports Stadiums." Our assumption was that (like in our hometown of Seattle, you cross the street, and you're there. Well that's fine as long as you realize that the "street" is I-70, and you have to take a shuttle. The internet service, which is free at many hotels, costs $5.95 per day, and is very bad and slow. Some e-mails with attachments could not be sent! Service in the restaurant was atrocious. We waited an hour for our food. There were no alternatives except a Denny's nearby.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 60Disappointed - Unexpected Exceptions at Every Turn!
In town for a family funeral. My family and I selected this hotel because of its location and because of the water park (we had multiple rooms, and multiple children looking forward to the water park). We checked in at 3am. Check-in staff was rude and I felt like I was inconveniencing him by checking in. Noticed a sign that said the water park and the indoor pool were going to be out of service for our entire visit. Expressed disappointment (not a complaint), and was met with an unsympathetic reply. Went to room, which appeared as if it hadn't been vacuumed. I wouldn't normally care, but with a small child, items like gummies and a child's hair clip left behind could've been a hazard. We couldn't locate an ice bucket, so we went downstairs and asked for one. Again, front desk staff was short w/response (and acted as if it we should've know) that ice bucket was in a desk cabinet(?). In room clock was not functioning (and flashed constantly), so we flipped it over and called for a wake-up call. We never received a wake-up call. Left for a day of services & family visit. Returned after a long day, to find that our room hadn't been serviced. Called front desk once again to, once again, very unsympathetic staff. Had to ask for towels and coffee, and again felt as if she was doing me a favor by satisfying my request. When I thought of the Sheraton Hotels, I instantly thought "quality", but this location proved me wrong. I understand that exceptions occur, but believe that even with the number of excpetions with this visit, each of them would've been overlooked if the hotel's staff had displayed different behavior. Overall I was very disappointed with this visit, and despite it's convenient location, I would really have to think twice about selecting this particular hotel for future visits since there are several hotel options in the area. I have never completed a negative review, and am sorry to feel that one is necessary this time.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 60Outdated Rooms
The location of this hotel is great if you want to go to a KC Chiefs Football game, but that is about it. The decor is way outdated. There were no kleenex or washclothes in our room. There is only 1 mirror and that is in the bathroom with no exhaust fan. The CoCo Key Waterpark was very nice. Overall, I would not stay again and if I wanted to go to the waterpark, I will stay somewhere else.

The room was ok, but our TV was broken everyday of our stay. You would turn it on and there was no picture just sound. We had an engineer fix it each day. On the 3rd day the front desk said that they would switch out the TV's and when we returned to the room it was still broken. Also when we came back to the hotel we could not even get in the room our card didn't work. When we talked to management their attidues were very nonchalant and they acted like they didn't care about our issue. I will not stay at this hotel again. After complaining the associate did give us a free night stay. The only good thing about the hotel was the bed, there was not safe, fridge not very many amenties. One other good thing was the Kansas City Chiefs players stayed in the hotel, because the stadium was right across the street.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 60Great room but you pay for the conveniences
The hotel room was great - clean, plenty of room, great shower, comfortable bed. However - they offer bottles of water in your room upon arrival (that you will be charged a fee for drinking). They also offer wireless internet service (that you have to pay a fee to hook up to). If you order room service, they add a steep charge to even utilize before you place an order! What is that all about? I recently stayed at a hotel in Bentonville that offered free water, chips, ice cream, wireless internet, and so many more amenities for a cheaper price - and it was a newer hotel. I will not stay there again just because I had to double check everything that I wanted to use to make sure there wasn't a usage fee! There are two other hotels in walking distance from this one that are cheaper, provide free wireless internet, and don't nickel and dime you to death.

Two negatives..Tube slides are very dark and hot, a bit scary for little kids. The body slide, you could feel every connection on your back as you were sliding. But, the waterpark was clean and my kids had fun.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 60Terrible Service and NOT Clean
I don't know even what to start with... 1. Check in was crazy - rooms not ready. 2. room looked like it had sit empty for months - you could write your name in the dust. 3. bedding was dirty!! Yes, dirty!! 4. the shower rode was coming out of the wall. 5. we had one wash cloth - no coffee service called down for wash cloths and coffee, sweetner and etc. never received!! 6. Ordered french onion soup and it was so salty I set it to the side - the waitress came and looked that I had never ate it and said "it's to salty right? we have had other complants" now if others had complained why are they still serving it? 7. the hallways had food and trash laying in them. 8. House keeping was rude. We just thought this was a terrible experience in a Sheraton property.

The pool was closed for an hour and 30 minutes so that made me mad. When I got 2 the hotel sheets were all staided up and my pillow was the same. I called the manger of the hotel and lift a message and he never got back with me. I was very unhappy with my stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 60Good Hotel - Bad Restaurant
Room was nice and hotel location was convenient for a Royals game. Shuttle does not start until hour before gametime, so if tailgating be prepared to walk to the ballpark. Restaurant was one of the more dissappointing hotel experiences in a long time. Menu was very watered down but the in-room menu looked decent. Breakfast buffet is worth it only for the convenience, but nothing great for the money. Dissappointed with hotel management due to lack of response to comments left on comment card. Overall, would've expected more for the money.
