Days Inn Ft Lauderdale/Oakland Park

Short stays OK. Price is great.

There is a major hwy outside and trains that whistle but a/c blocked most of the noise. Room was small but comfortable and clean.

its okay only if u are on the road doing a lot of shopping and not relaxing stright throw

Noise

Get a room facing away from the road if possible. The street is very busy with a lot of traffic noise. In addition, it buts up to train tracks which are noisy when the Amtrak goes by.

NEEDS CLEARER DIRECTIONS FOR LOCATING.

HOTEL IS A BIT REMOVED FROM AIRPORT. THE SHUTTLE WAS LATE BECAUSE THEY SHARE THEIR VAN WITH ANOTHER FACILITY. THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL IN SECURING SHUTTLE TO MIAMI.

great room for the money

Recently I went to FLL for a tournament. The service at the hotel was excellent. The room need some improvements but overall was good.

Good Value

We found this hotel to be a good value. The rooms had been freshly painted and the bedding appeared to be new. The free airport shuttle was a great help and the shuttle driver provided excellent service.

You get what you pay for

This Days Inn is well worn and on a main road with a railroad track running next to the property which makes it a fairly high noise environment. Bring a positive attitude and your foam earplugs and none of that will bother you. The location is fairly close to the beach and the downtown cafe scene which is the best part of staying here. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was more than sufficient, but you need to get there early or the selections will be slim. All in all a decent place for the price.
