Boston Omni Parker House Hotel

needs improvement

The room was booked as a de/luxe king size bed room ... at arrival I had a Queen size bed and was told I had "requested" a King ... not true...I had booked a King ,so my confirmation said .. the bathroom was the size of a broom closet...on opening the bathroom door it hit the toilet therefore you had to squeeze through...one club chair in this "de/luxe"room ... the other person had to sit on bed to view T.V.which had 6 channels only .... in my opinion the accomadation was no better than an ordinary motel ...

Avoid the Omni.

Tiny rooms and bad customer service. I would avoid this hotel.

Very good location, very small bathroom

Beds were not very comfortable and too small. Bathroom was too small for a 4 star hotel

Bath took 1 hr to drain

I had a shower and the drain took 1 hour to drain, the fire alarm went off, we we turned on the heater a little. Also the room smelled. Moreover, in regards cost parking with the hotel over night was a whopping 40.00

Bad room for the money

This hotel is simply over priced, the reception was border rude and certainly passing on her bad day to me. The room is kinda small and ok if it was $50 cheaper. not worth the money, many better hotels in boston.

My Room Was A Joke

I would not have put my dog in the room I was first given. It looked like a lein closet that had been converted into a "room". I had to pay extra for a room wher you could actually walk around the bed. The second room would have been exceptable at the inital rate. The frist room was so small that if the door was open you could not get between it and the small chest of drawers (which the TV sat on) or even see the bathroom. The window looked out onto a small space between two buildings that was coverd with pigon droppings. YUK! The ice bucket had to be located by the bellman behind the TV (nowhere else for it to sit). If I were the Omni I would be embaressed to even offer such a room. It really cheapened by opinon of the chain, and I will not stay in any of their hotels again.

Not to cool for Red Sox Fans

The hotel itself is somewhat old and charming on the inside....However, the room was so tiny that we had to walk sideways to get from the bed to the bathroom in order to fit between the dresser and the bed. Was very dissapointed to find that we had to go down to the lounge at 10:30 pm to watch the Boston Red Sox Game....who would believe that in Boston you can't get the game from your Hotel Room! Wouldn't stay there again unless I was guaranteed a bigger room and the Sox were not on.

Cramped Room

The room was very small with only a few feet of space around the bed. The double bed is too small for two people. The bathroom was furnished with a pedsestal sink and had no counter space for toiletries.

Needs Improvement

We had a room on the third floor and asked for something higher up. We did get a room on the 10 floor but it had a view of a brick wall on one side, and we could see out the other window due to the air conditioner. For a deluxe room we were expecting more.

tiny rooms!

While this hotel is very nice, I would not recommend it for a family of 4 or more. The rooms were so small, that we had to line the walls with our suitcases because there was no room for them. This left very little room to walk around the beds.
