Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 31Please try another hotel.
Inn needs improvement. When basic amenities aren't met, like water to shower. Hmmm, why would you want to stay here? The best that could be offered is maintenance expected arrival in 10 minutes. Now it is 20 minutes later and still waiting for any fix... When front desk SAYS they will contact you and don't is frustrating. C'mon!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 31Power out for over three hours
The electricity was out for over three hours on the evening we stayed at here. Staff seemed to be doing little to help guests. There were no back-up/emergency lights in the hotel. After over an hour, staff began to hand out flash lights to a few guests. Upon check out no apology was offered. I also ask for them to comp the room or at least discount our stay. The desk person stated that the city of Seattle was not reimbursing them for lost business therefore he could discount or comp our room. I thought this was a pretty weak excuse. I will never stay here again and recommend you do not either.

great look and hotel staff were competent and polite, rooms were clean and no bedbugs. However, there were no elevators for a 3rd floor room, no air conditioning for an 85 + day and the bathroom needed a major upgrade. Also the parking surcharge for parking a block away was uncalled for at the rates we were charged.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 31Not great
For a hotel conveniently located in downtown Seattle, the rates were very reasonable. The hotel itself is old and it shows; many would probably consider it charming. Lobby spaces have period-ish furniture, and there's a lovely courtyard where guests can take their continental breakfast. In spite of the many "charming" touches, the bedspreads were cheap and modern. Our room was a little odd - it came with a queen bed and a twin, a kitchenette crammed into the tiny space, yet with a spacious closet. Everything was very clean. The parking situation isn't great, and we found it much more cost-effective and convenient to park on the street.

Not sure I would consider this inn 'quaint.' It's an older building in a good location. We will spend a few more dollars on a better place on our next trip to Seattle.

Hotel is missing an elevator, three floors is quite a walk up with bags. No air conditioner makes for a hot room during the summer. No airport pickup or drop off.

The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The courtyards were beautifully kept and the location in Queen Ann was a plus. There are great restaurants with in walking distance. The room was basically clean and the kitchenette was clean and well stocked. The room however, had problems. The bed was not very comfortable, pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The top sheet had a washed-in blood stain in it. The worst part was that the kitchenette window did not have a blackout curtain and the blinds were broken. The sun comes up at 4:45am in Seattle in the summer so after trying everything I could think of to block out the sun...I got up at 5:30am. Parking was $20 a night or try to find a spot on the street and move your car by 8am. The night I was there the Key Arena was having a concert so parking was a nightmare. I really wanted to like the Inn and use it as my hotel for Seattle but this visit turned me off, the comfort level just was not there.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 31Decent place for the money
If you're not looking to spend alot of time in your room then this is a good place to stay for the money. The hotel itself is pretty run down and the rooms are small. It's in a good location and pretty good neighborhood

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 31Don't go there.
This hotel is very run down and very small. It looked quaint and charming on the website but it is in disrepair. Not a good value and my wife still talks about it.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 31Not worth the price
First of all the price was too steep for what was offered and the pictures were very misleading. The hotel was older then appeared in the photos and had great amounts of wear and tear. We were offered a room with 2 beds but were told there were none left when we checked in. The hotel also did not have an elevator and was 3 stories high. We were traveling with a 92year woman and they put us on the 3rd floor. It took me 20 minutes of haggling in order for them to change her to the first floor. Also there is NO onsite parking and unless you want to pay $20 a day to use their "parking lot" (an alley about 2 blocks from the hotel) then you have to park on the street and that is only free from 6pm-8am then it is $2/hour during the day. The "continental breakfast" was subpar.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 31Nice, but not worth the price
This hotel is super close to the "Seattle Center" area of town (with Space Needle, Key Area). I thought the hotel was cute and felt safe. The beds were not comfortable and when we requested extra pillows were told the house cleaning staff was gone for the night so they could get us some pillows tomorrow. This did not help as we stayed for one night. The staff was extremely helpful otherwise (free shuttle, help finding the right buses take). The restaurants nearby were quite nice too. Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again because I felt the room was way over priced. But if money isn’t an issue I might stay again.

Hotel was very old and run down. No air conditioning in room unless you paid for the "deluxe" room. We were on the 3rd floor without air conditioning on a 85 deg day. Windows do open but no screens in the windows. Staff were nice and location within 1 block of Key Arena were the selling points.

Hotel is poorly maintained, possibly because of it's "historic" nature. However, basic improvements would have made a difference. The hotel is hot like an oven (especially 2nd & 3rd floors) & the AC unit in the room was old & noisy. Only plus: close to the Space Needle. I wouldn't stay here again even at the decent rate on Hotels.com.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 31Noisy and Uncomfortable
Room had two single beds that were very uncomfortable. The beds were old and slanted. My friend actually rolled off his bed twice in the night. The sound of rain banging against the air conditioning window unit drove us nuts all night. The ceiling in the room was falling down, as well as the ceiling in the bathroom. The hot water in the bath tub was on when we arrived. It couldn't be turned off. It was ironic that there was a note about conserving water when the bath tub constantly leaked hot water. The 5 am trash pickup was a treat. The staff could give a rip about your stay, so I would seriously consider paying a little more to stay in a nice hotel where you can actually get a good night sleep.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 31Would not pay full price
The staff were really great but the room is overpriced. I guess you are paying for the location. Be prepared to pay an extra $18 for parking per day on top of the room price. Breakfast was coffee and an english muffin. Again, the staff were great and the location is beautiful and convenient but I will look around next time.
