Difficult to Find, but a Good Value

I had difficulty finding the hotel: it is above the Champion grocery store, 1 block from the southwest corner of Place de Jaude, in the center of Clermont. The Place de Jaude tram stop is only a 5-minute walk, and many restaurants and lots of shopping is nearby. My room included a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and dishes, so one night I bought groceries downstairs and prepared dinner in my room. Negatives: reception desk is only manned 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, mediocre breakfast starts at 7:00 (one morning the preparer was late, so I missed breakfast), must pay for internet, and only one English-speaking TV channel (Sky News). However, the price is right and location is convenient. I would stay there again and recommend it to value-conscious travelers.
