Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 16Very social place
Really nice place. The open courtyard style communal area was great for meeting people at breakfast or afternoon snacks over a sparkling cider.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 16Great little inn! Mar 27-30, 2009
Everything was exactly as mentioned on previous reviews. The pastries baked by Bill every morning and the cookies by Joanne in the afternoon were delicious! We were in Rm 1, right next to the street and never heard a car or people in the room next door. Really needed our wonderful jaccuzi tub after a long hike up Oat Hill Mine Trail. Bill promptly answered all my emails & even checked us in early as requested on Friday afternoon so that we were able to enjoy a lovely picnic lunch on the patio followed by a dip in the pool on the first 80° day this year! The rooms were comfy and clean. I was even able to use the cute pot belly fireplace on our last night for little while. Both hosts were a joy!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 16Great location, charming and comfortable!
What a great find, right off the main street in Calistoga and only minutes from other wonderful Napa Valley town and wineries. The room was very spacious, fire place was a nice suprise and the bathroom with jacuzzi tub was huge. It was nice to have a mini fridge as well. The breakfast the next morning was just right and had beautiful pastries. Will definetly stay there again. For the money and in that area, you cant get any better!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 16Good room for a great little town
The amenities were nice with a kitchenette, mini-fridge, fireplace, and pool/hot-tub on grounds. For off-season, this was a good place to stay at a fair price.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 16Great room for the price
Charming, quaint, spa just 2 blocks off the main street. Well maintained, even though it's older. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast(included); cookies and apple cider as well as cheese plate in the afternoon. would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 16Comfortable Get-Away
This was quiet. Many amenities, incl. afternoon refreshments and a good continental breakfast. My only complaint was a reluctance to check a light fixture that seemingly had a bulb out. (I managed to fix it myself.) Overall, I really liked this hotel! and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for just one evening but will return in the future for a longer stay. Very nice and quaint. Very convenient to main boulevard for restaurants, and conveniences. A quiet little gem.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 16Lovely
This is a sweet little place. Morning breakfast was standard fare with cereal, fruit, breads, coffee etc. Afternoon snack served was a nice touch. The crackers and cheese went great with our new wine find. The room was cozy and warm. Though it was rainy while we were there, the gas fireplace warmed up the room nicely. Honor bar snacks and beverages were charged at normal prices (chips or a bottle of water for about a buck) which I found very refreshing for a hotel. The room was nicely decorated and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay.
