Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 40Overpriced, filthy carpet, out dated, sandpaper sheets
Considering the price we paid, this hotel was way under our expectations. The carpets were filthy and stained, and the sheets felt like sandpaper. The decor of the room was 1970's. There were people digging ditches outside the room. I forgot my phone charger and called the front desk. Even though the price I paid was triple what I would expect to pay in a similar quality hotel, the clerk asked me for my credit card number to mail it to me. They could have put it in the mail for next to nothing. Based on my impression of the hotel, there was no way I was going to give that guy my credit card number over the phone. Upon arrival there were 2 hardened "street people" hanging out in front of the entrance to the lobby arguing. The clerk paid no attention to them until I raised my concerns with the safety of the hotel. He asked them if they were guests. Judging from the fact that they hadn't shaven, had holes in their clothes, dirt stains from sleeping in the streets and smelled like barn animals, the question seemed surreal. They moved their hangout to the sidewalk in front of the hotel and stayed there. The clerk did not call the police to have them removed. No breakfast was offered or served. Even the "number motels" offer coffee and a danish. I would NEVER stay in this hotel again. The company's corporate offices should do an inspection and consider dropping this property from their chain. If I hadn't already paid through this site, I would not have stayed there - at any price.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 40Room was OK for price
This was your standard Motel 6 room but it was pretty clean. The bldg a little older. Neighborhood was fine, except that it sounded like there was a homeless person playing in the pool (which was closed) when we arrived. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 40Not bad
Room wasn't too bad. Ample space and the mini-fridge was a surprise. Biggest complaint was the horrendous parking lot. Extremely small, no room to manuever, plus the spaces were puny. That may just be a California thing, though.

the room was neat but not very clean. we found a box of take out food in the closet. the carpet looked dirty, the towels are paper thin and with the shower heads being so high the water barely touches you. on the upside, the beds were comfortable and the sheets clean.

Definitely not 3 star, maybe 2. Large inpersonal hotel/motel and right on top of a freeway.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 40Ok Stay
The room was ok. The only really good part of this hotel is that there's a Dennys attached to it! There's nothing too impressive about this hotel at all. Oh! If you're into fitness, you may be disappointed with the fitness area.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 40Hotel wanted to keep carbon copy of our credit card
The hotel insisted it had to keep a carbon copy of our credit card for four years. They were not very helpful when we refused but finally agreed to tear up the copy when we left a large deposit. It's an expensive hotel with paper thin walls, so you can hear automobile traffic all the time plus if the person in the other room coughs you hear that too.
