Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 25A Great Location for A Reasonable Price
This was the third time that I've stayed in the Park Plaza Orchid in Tel Aviv. The renovation is just about complete and has been nicely done. The single rooms are small, but well appointed and very comfortable. One of the nicest hotel beds that I've slept on. Fast, free wi-fi is a big plus for me. Mainly, though, I love the location. Right on the beach, 15 minute walk to Shuk HaKarmel and Sheinkin Street...you just can't beat it. Very nice and helpful staff also make for a nice stay. The lobby bar is pleasant and has some nice food items which are not overpriced for a beachfront hotel. I much prefer the Cafe Masada right next door though for breakfast. The hotel breakfast is just too expensive for me. I just can't eat $20 of breakfast food, even though it's pretty good. We will continue to go back to this hotel...it's the best bargain on the Tel Aviv beach.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 25Great Place to Stay
The service was tremendous. Front desk people help book tours, give wake up calls, etc. Room was newly remodled and very comfortable. I did not have an ocean view but it looks right out over the beach.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 25Very Good/Just what I expected Hotel
I was completely satisfied with my stay at the Plaza Orchid. The room was clean, comfortable and interesting. The hallways was lovely, the view from my room was looking out across the beach and Mediterranean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think it was a good value for the price.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 25Tel Aviv Orchid
Great location on the Tel Aviv beach. Not too convenient to train stations, but several good restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel has two towers, the one in front with full beach view and balcony, the one in back with sideways partial ocean view from upper floors. Breakfast is overpriced and unsatisfying to non-kosher diners. The staff was helpful with booking tours which had hotel pickup. Free internet and bicycle use.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 25Good room but hotel is under construction
Hotel exterior is under construction, which makes it look like after the war. There is no direct entrance to the boardwalk and we had to walk around, which is also all construction. Inside the hotel lobby is constant smell of the sewage. Pool is a total disaster, small, facing the wall and with mold. Pool furniture and service is desires to be better. Service is very average. On the positive side: room is very good and location is perfect.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 25Mostly Good, Some Flaws
So firstly, remember that Israel is expensive everywhere for Americans, that Tel Aviv is even more expensive, and to be on the beach, well, that's worth quite a bit. Hence the price was a little higher than I would have liked to pay, but the location was great. My room was on the smaller side, but well decorated and comfortable. The view was of the beach, which was also nice. The bathroom was acceptable, but the shower would spill water all over the bathroom floor, so it was always a bit messy and wet in there. Services there were excellent though, with good food and free internet, and friendly staff. The pool was small but nice, and there wasn't enough pool chairs for the busy traffic there, but again, the beach was literally across the small street, so not a big deal. Overall, I was very happy with the hotel, not so much with the bathroom or the size-to-price ratio, but happy no less.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 25A very enjoyable stay.
Good service, great location - right next to the beach, great view, great breakfast. Clean, tasteful lobby. The only negative comment I have is that it was somewhat noisy at night (outside noises, mostly).
