Paid "resort fee" any many of the resort programs were not running through the winter....

We really were disappointed in this hotel. The room was very small, and a lot of the resort programs that contribute to the resort fee were no longer running int he winter months.

Overall not worth the price

When we arrived they downgraded our room. It took me 15 minutes to get this fixed, and another customer came up and had the same problem. The front desk service was not very pleasant and did not appear empowered to help guests. When we got the correct room it smelled of mold. Their were brown stains on two of the five pillow covers and the bathroom did had some strange stains on the walls. The bell hop was the one redeeming feature about this hotel he was knowledgible about the area, friendly, and willing to help. Parking at night is almost impossible as they do not have enough parking spots for the rooms. It took almost 20 minutes of driving around to find a spot and I noticed most cars were parked on curbs and in grass areas. The front desk also gave me a coupon and said see guest services for more info. When I went to guest services, the girl that handed me an envelope with coupons for local stores and restaurants couldn't be bothered to get off her cell phone. I tried the gym while I was there and found that the water jug was not replaced and remained empty from one night until well after 10 the next morning, when we checked out. I have stayed in several hotels in this area for the same price and found them all to be cleaner and better staffed. I will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone else.

Ok for the price, but lousy service

The hotel is chronically understaffed which is reflected in the long lines at the front desk, as well as the annoyed people behind it. Overall ok, given the low price/night.

Not a Disney quality "resort"

Location was great, Price (discount for one night) was fair but to call this a "Disney Resort" is a stretch. We stayed in the "Motel" portion of the hotel and the rooms were old (but newly painted). Elevator was broken so had to go to elvator across the hotel. Nice Motel, not a Resort or Hotel.

Issues

House keeping knocked on our door the next morning 3 times before we checked out. First time was at 8:00 am waking us up. Hot water did not work after 11:00 pm. Elevator would get stuck on the 5th floor.

Good location but rooms are too small and front desk personnel not to pleasant.

The room was to small. The view was horrid. Only had view of rooftops.

Quick Weekend Getaway

Although this hotel has been renovated, I was disappointment in the amount of corners that were cut. The rooms were repainted, re-carpeted, new furniture and new linens were placed on the bed. The old doors and mirrored closet doors remained. The bathroom had old tile with paint and mold along with old shower tile that did not match the décor of the room. The cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar. There are also interior and exterior entrances for this hotel, which is not clearly mentioned on the web. The main reason we visited this hotel was because of their water park. It is more suitable for older children. The water pressure that comes out of the system is somewhat painful and not suitable for small, young children. We arrived at the pool around 9:30am and the water system was not on nor did they have towels available to use at the pool. Once the staff member arrived, the towels were in a bin and not folded. They were old and dingy looking. Overall, the hotel was inexpensive and disappointing. The price point was right, but for a few extra dollars you could have gotten a much nicer stay in the area.

Disappointing

We checked in around 11:30p.m. and were told they did not have the room we reserved because they "overbooked." Our first night we had one bed and a roll away bed, which was a disaster. It took them 45 min. to bring roll away bed to room. Did give us the correct room the following day, but the re-packing was a hastle. Would recommend staying in main tower. Pool was beautiful and very spacious. Lobby area nice. Character breakfast disappointing (only Pluto and Goofy). Breakfast way over priced. Not many restaurants w/in walking distance. Taxi service $9 per mile!!

Room Review

Although the location was great, the quality of the hotel was quite poor. The room temp/AC was not working properly, and you could hear noise from the outside which was difficult when you are trying to go to sleep. Additonally, the bathroom tub was clogged and when we wanted to have an express check out, it did not work from the room TV!

Good location, but not like in the picture!!

I was very disappointed when I saw the room. It does not look like the one in the picture. I had called the hotel before arriving and they told me about a huge renovation they did to the hotel, but the tub was old, the carpet had a smell, and some metal in the room was rusted. I would not go back to that hotel. The location was amazing!!

Older Hotel recently renovated

Hotel not laid out well. Difficult to find yoiur way around. There are much better hotels in the area.
