outstanding hotel.

the staff were very helpful and attentive. my room was extremely comfortable and close to everything in the area. I am looking forward to staying there again. also there were no restrictions on the times for the pool.. that i liked very much. cant wait to go back soon.

Good place to stay for a few days

The room was very clean and nice. I thought it would be right on the beach but it's still not too far away. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, and the maid does not wash the dishes when she comes to clean the room, but if you are staying for just a few days that is not a problem. Overall its a good place to stay for a few days of vacation, great pool and nice neighborhood.

Good one night stay

This is a good hotel for a one night stay we where allowed to check in at 11:30 AM. Stayed for one night before our cruise, easy to find. Nice restaurant & bar quiet non-smoking room, grocery store across the street & numerous restaurants & bars close within walking distance.

Parking can be a problem. Price is a bit high. The Damon's restaurant does not accept Gift Cards -- says temporarily unable but waiter said they do not have the ability to accept gift cards.

Decent Place, Great Location

The overall condition of the building is decent, but the real selling point on this hotel is location, location, location. There are two buildings, one literally right on the beach, and the main building just across the street. Either one has beach access within a 30 second walk. The rooms leave a little to be desired if you are looking for something fancy, but if you just need a place to crash for incredible beach access, this is your place.

Nice hotel

Hotel room was beautiful, the location was good... only problem was the hot water heat broke and the didnt fix it within the 2 days we stayed there so we couldnt shower

Its all about location- not much else

Hotel under renovation. front desk not helpful. Intermittant wireless service. Kept getting bumped off. No help from hote. Stayed here 20 years ago, was great. Location is why I stayed.

needs improvement

Great location for the price but renovations are at a snail's pace--information before booking was misleading concerning this. Management needs some organization.

cool beach hotel

My teenaged children and I stayed here for one night on our way to a cruise. The hotel was in avg. condition, but the bar, pool, and step-right-onto-the beach location were great. We wish we could have stayed longer and will probably go back. Give it a try if you like fun, reasonably priced hotels.
