Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 42Good budget hotel but a long way from downtown Boston
Staff were pleasent and helpful, room was spacious and clean - no fault with the hotel itself. The location was too far from the city centre if your looking to visit and you don't have a car.

Front desk people varied between ignorant and friendly. Barmaid unfriendly, treated us as intruding in her privat conversation. Otherwise OK.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 42Not the Best
This hotel is fine if you are looking for a comfortable bed within a convenient shuttle ride to the airport. It does not have particularly great amenities like a full service restuarant and there are no restaurants within easy walking distance. Free wi-fi available in the large lobby, but not in rooms. If you do stay, make a shuttle reservation when checking in versus assuming you'll get on.

They did shuttle us which was nice, but the staff wasn't very pleasant and it was very difficult to find the hotel even with the gps. major construction

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 42Not a good area
This hotel was not in a good area as it is actually located in Dorchester which is not a good area of Boston. Nothing around hotel - you need to drive or take taxis everywhere.

$10 per day parking, $12.95 per day wi-fi, no continental breakfast. For the price it was not worth it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 42Disappointed about Boston in Austin
The "restaurant" was a joke. The shuttle service was extremely limited. The water pressure in the shower wasnt very good. For the amount of money we paid the room was unremarkable.

I have stayed in Doubletree Hotels before and thought this would be a suite. All of my past experiences were in suites. I was not expecting a typical hotel room.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 42Needs Big Improvement
Where to start? First of all, no help at front desk, thus long wait to check in. Many times when calling from my room to front desk, they were so understaffed they never answered the front desk phone. My room was dirty. The desk table in the room had one leg almost off and leaning to the side. The phone was broken and could not call out on local or long distance. I requested a replacement phone that never came. When showering, the drain was stopped up, and ended up standing in six inches of water. Requested a repair - it never came. When I asked for a manager to complain, he/she was never there, I was told.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 42What a horrible experience with Hotel.com
I was using Hotels.com for the first time on my trip to Boston. That was the worst mistake I have done in my life. If you can for your pleasure, do not use double tree in Boston or hotels.com
