Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 107Exceptional Hotel/Resort
Although we had dinner many times at the resort restaurant T.Cooks which is a favorite when traveling to Phoenix we had never stayed there. Our stay was delightful and we will be back - a complete getaway - lovely room- fine dining and a spa to die for. Highly recommended!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 4 of 107Wonderful experience
The hotel is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed our 40th birthday girls weekend celebration there. It was a great experience from a massage at the spa, to laying around the pool and enjoying chatting with others. We walked the canal and enjoyed the resort restaurant. Just wonderful. The only strange thing was that the guest room hallway smelled like a hospital (steril), but that was easily overlooked.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 107A great place to enjoy
This is a great place, much much better then you can think of. I was here on business and will try to come back for a mini vacation. The only thing was the resort fee, it kind of caught me off guard. It was not listed on the fees there when I booked the place. It should have atleast stated this. Now, this is not the tax, you already pay the tax, this is a resort fee that the hotel adds on. $25-30 per night if I am not mistaken. other then that, this place was gold...enjoy it

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 107Very relaxing and enjoyable
Was very relaxing, not overcrowded. Best in room dining we have ever had. The staff was very helpful and very concerned that our stay was perfect. Would stay there again.

The Royal Palms was the Royal treatment! Beautiful grounds, very friendly and helpful staff. I was totally happy and relaxed for my whole stay. Nicest place I've ever been. I'd highly recommend it!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 107# 1 in Customer Service
I travel frequently and this by far is the greatest hotel I've ever stayed at for customer service. Everyone we came in contact with at the property was friendly, courteous and went out of their way to accomodate us. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, our room was fantastic and romantic, breakfast in our room came in 15 minutes - made to order. The service at the pool was great, the front desk and valet staff excelled at their job. On our last day, we went to the spa - another amazing experience. The treatment (citrus ritual) was fantastic and the spa staff were friendly. The oustide showers were fun. This was my favorite place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle, lots of flowers and grass, and the best staff you could ever ask for. I plan to return to the hotel when it gets cooler to enjoy all of their fireplaces!

My only complaint: $25 'fee' I was hit for upon arriving.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 107beautiful resort
Beautiful resort stay; wonderful pool experience ; lived up to our expectations except disappointed with the "gym" and the additional costs for using the pool and having a newspaper delivered to the room (most other hotels deliver the newspaper without an extra cost); also would suggest bottled water in the rooms for guests.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 107Outstanding Hotel, Spectacular service
From the moment we drove up, the experience was truly special. The service was the best i've ever experienced, and i've traveled a lot, world wide. Many, many special touches everywhere you look -- great nooks and crannies to sit overlooking little water fountains w/ overhanging flowers, fantastic mood lighting around the resort at night, excellent concierge service, spectacular landscaping and architecture everywhere. But the service level was remarkable -- any and everything we asked about was immediately taken care of, the valets had cold waters for us, the staff at the pool kept free lemon waters cold and drinks served quickly -- every staff member we met had a big smile and asked if there was anything we needed, crazy good service. Lots to do in the area too -- golf, mall, arcades, hiking, restaurants, you name it. Highly recommend this place.
