Did Not Live up to Promise

When I had booked this hotel room, I had requested a refrigerator in the room. We were told that would be no problem. When we arrived, there was no refrigerator and the hotel lobby employee only said "sorry about that." She did not offer to get us one. When arriving we also noted that an entire children's hockey team was staying at the hotel. I asked, if available, could we have a room away from where they were staying; that we wanted a quiet area so we could relax. She said "No problem." We were placed on a corner next to the ice machine, coke machine and elevator. It was extremely loud up until about 1:30 in the morning. Again, her response was "sorry". Again, no offer to move us to a different room or anything. Very disappointing. Won't stay there again. continental breakfast had a nice variety though and that employee was very nice.

Lousy Breakfast

Nothing hot except waffles, no fruit, rolls and cereal stale.

Really Bad Breakfast

Nothing hot except waffles. Cereal and pastry was old.

Don't do it!

I am not sure why they put Marriott in the title of this hotel because it is far from it. The decor is god awfully tacky, the beds are uncomfortable, not to mention you had to hold the lever on the toilet down for a few minutes to even get it to flush.The only thinkg I was satisfied with was the customer service.

Needs Improvement

Hotels.com had the wrong name on on my reservation,and gave me the wrong confermation number.The room was small the tv was small.The room had no refrigerator or microwave.However the room was verry clean,and the staff was courtious.

Replace the carpet at least

You can tell that the hotel use to be all smoking and they converted some rooms to non-smoking... YUCK. Still smells very bad. In order to get rid of the smell, they will have to do more then just steam clean the carpet. Everything should be replaced.
