The air conditioner in the first room we were given did not work, so we were moved to a second room. The good news was the air conditioning worked, the bad news was the floor was wet near the a/c unit and there was mold on the wall near the unit and in the bathroom. Furthermore the room we moved to did not have a tv remote so we were advised to take the remote from the previous room. Our only reason for remaining in the room much less the hotel was that we had to leave for our flight in 5 hours. Otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else.

This hotel overall was clean, but the beds were uncomfortable, the sheets did not fit, the room was shown as a 2 bedroom suite, and nothing let us know that there was a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. I can say that the manager was extremely nice, but that is about the only positive that there is.

After finding the hotel manager in the laundry room, we were directed to three different rooms, each of which was not made up, trashed out and dirty. By the fourth room, we finally decided to stay there because it was so late. Three of us crammed into one room because of exhaustion. The management was not nice and not accomodating. We would very much like a full refund. It was the most unpleasant hotel experience ever!!! I tried emailing you this form immediately after the hotel stay, and after spending several minutes filling it out and sending it, I got an email back saying "sorry, your survey did not go through." So, now I am sending it for the second time. Please acknowledge the fact that you recieved this email survey. I plan to not use Hotels.com again in the future., and certainly not the Homestead DFW.

Our family checked into this hotel very late because of a late flight. When we went up to the room, it was not clean, beds were unmade, and there was trash everywhere. After going to the desk to find another room for three people, they gave us two single rooms. One of them was dirty and unmade, the other was fine, but it had only one double bed. They had no other rooms. By this time it is 2 a.m.. We ended up all three sleeping in the one room with the one double bed. I am requesting a refund.

I booked my vacation 6 months in adavance. I assumed that I would have room. I called the day before to confirm my reservation and to make sure that the hotel (I called them directly) would know that we would be arriving late. I was told that that was no problem. When we got to the hotel around 11:00pm. We were sent to a room on the 3rd floor. It was dirty (bed was unmade and bathroom had been used for bathing). I went down to ask for another room. Another couple also with children was trying to check in. They had the same problem. There were no clean rooms. There were however two people at the front desk. I am not sure why one of them could not clean a room. They seemed like they did not know what they were doing. Finally, after checking at least 2 other rooms I told the guy to please just give me some cleaner and to give me clean bed sheets that I would do it myself. So, I cleaned a the bathroom and prepared the bed for sleeping at midnight. The overall condition of ther room was not too good either. I would not have wanted to stay there again anayway. It was just not too clean. We were told that a shuttle would pick us up for our early morning flight. When we got downstairs the lobby was locked from the inside and out. It was dark and there was no way to buzz in to have someone let us in the lobby. There was no where for us to wait for the shuttle except outside. Thank the Lord it was not raining. I will never stay here again and I hope you will not either!

Basic room, close to the airport. Make sure you pack your blow dryer since the room will not have one. Probably could get more for your money at the other surrounding hotels.

The hotel phone system shut down over night so my wake up call did not come through and I missed my flight causing terrible problems for my business. In addition, they charged me for the room after I had already paid Hotels.com, so now I have to deal with that also. When I asked the person at the front desk what I could do about missing my flight, they acted like they could not be bothered. They did not even offer to pay for the cab to get me to the airport faster. This place is a total zero and should be avoided by any traveler.

This place was terrible. The room, although spacious, had an odor. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were thin. The lights went out on the morning of our departure (6:00 a.m.) and there was nothing said to any of the guests. We had to roam around the room getting dressed in pitch blackness. Also, the shower was COLD. There was no hot water at all. When we told the front desk we were simply told where to leave the keys. We will NOT go back to this hotel.

We will never stay at another Homestead. Dirty stained sheets with hair everywhere, after they sent us to a room that was not cleaned yet. Airport shuttle never showed up after 30 min. I missed my flight and had to have my wife drive me anyway.

I chose a 2 queen room suite with a sofa bed and the price was more for the suite. We were put in a regular 2 queen room at the higher price. Management ultimately comp'd another room, but after needing to push the issue. Having stayed with a competitor the night before I was disassatisfied with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. I would not choose this hotel again.
