the worst hotel experience of our lives

to be honest the only good quality of this hotel stay was the front desk attendent.within 5 mins of entering we dicovered a spoon in the hide-a-bed couch, upon inspection at was obvious that a previous patron had indeed been using drugs of some sort.We then returned after our evening to discover a very dirty ice bucket.While preparing to request a new ice bucket we disovered a dried substance on our pillow case.I then spoke with the front desk and requested new linens and ice bucket.Upon arrival the cleaning staff disagreed that the sheet were soiled and only offered to change the pillowcases.After a short exchange they agreed to change the sheets, however when we requested a blanket other than the one that was on the bed initially(which was thrown on the floor during the sheet exchange),we were denied by both staff members.We insisted that we have a new blanket and they finally agreed. Long story short...we spoke with the manager/owner the next mornin and he offered to refund our money for the first evening.We may have just had a bad room,who's to say, however i will not be staying at the hotel again and any person who is inquiring a place to stay in tunica, i will be sure to tell them to avoid the best western.

room wasn't available when i arrived breakfast was so,so plumbing needs work
