Location a plus

The hotel was in a great location, we walked everywhere and was safe and had a blast checking out the sites and Newberry St. The hotel was outdated itself: rooms, bathrooms, but the beds were comfortable and it was clean. I would stay here again because it had a great price for the area.

Park Plaza Review

The Plaza is in a great location for just about anything you want to do in Boston. The staff and concierge were very pleasant. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, the Plaza is great. If you want to spend an entire weekend in your room, I suggest upgrading to a suite or stay somewhere else as the guest rooms and bathrooms are very small.

Good value

I booked an economy room and was surprised that in addition to the bedroom, there was an attached living room with a second bathroom. The room was clean, the hotel service was great. the hotel was a block from the Arlington St. T line and 2 stops from Fenway Park, walking distance to Charles St., Newbury St. and the Boston Commons. Lots of restaurants nearby. I ate at Legal Seafood and the dinner was excellent. I got to the hotel from the airport on the T which took 45 minutes for $2.00. All in all an easy, comfortable, satisfying experience.

Great Location

Hotel is located near Boston Common and Garden, very easy to get anywhere in the city.

Great Downtown Spot

The Plaza is an older hotel with lots of classic touches. The location is fantastic in Back Bay. Easy to T and all Boston attractions. Room was small but very comfortable. Internet connection was not free--a negative for business travelers. I'd certainly stay again. Recommended.

Great Price for a Single

I recently stayed in a single room and I have to say, the hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, the beds are awesome, and the desk in my room did its job well. Only negative thing is they try to nickel and dime you if you want to use their business center. Fee for just logging into the computer, and I'm sure a fee for printing too. The surrounding neighborhood has some nice restaurants and clubs. Great hotel for the price; thinking of going back there soon! I should note, after 12-1am, don't wander too far alone. Panhandlers come out in force. As long as you stay within a block or two of the hotel, or take a cab, it's fine. But if you walk, expect to be hassled at every corner. The staff does a good job at keeping them out of the hotel, too.
