Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 45Good location, bad service, thin walls
The good: located centrally, right off the light rail. The bad: employees largely clueless, could hear my neighbor's television clearly.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 45OK for one night and the price
This hotel is OK for the price and OK to stay for one night. The location is close to downtown and the theater for a concert.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 45Not what I expected
I was very happy with the hotel when I when I checked in. It looked very clean and well taken care of. It wasn't until I got to the room later in the evening that I had a problem. The air conditioning was not sufficient to keep the entire room cool. Luckily the bed was close to the one vent so we were comfortable when we slept. The bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned but looked clean. The towels were not in the best condition and we ran out of toilet paper. In the middle of the night I woke up to a smell of stale moldy sheets and it turned out to be the comforter. The continental breakfast was average. I also gave my credit card for incidentals when I checked in and was not informed about he $50 hold by the front desk clerk or in any of the paper work I initialed when I checked in. My family and I only stayed in the hotel for one night quick stay and in my opinion that is what this hotel is good for.

This hotel was not what I expected at all. Had to change rooms air was not working, very bad when staying in Phoenix,AZ. Awful smell in room, it literally smelled like something died in our room. Beds not nice and firm like most hotel you would stay in. Toilet flushed only when it felt like it. TV cabinet didn't stay open on one side, I really felt like we were being "Punked", or we were in a movie where you stay at a hotel and everything possible is wrong with it. The only thing I can say is, good thing we only stayed one night, because I couldn't of took another day of staying there.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 45Room was too hot
When we checked into our room we immediately turned on the air conditioner. Out room never cooled down. We had to be moved to another room which was still not as cool but better.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 45low rate motel would be better
Upon check in we had to switch rooms three times: fist because the AC didn't work (downtown Phoenix and no AC), next because the amenities paid for weren't available, then we settled on a room with two queens (it was our anniversary and two beds weren't needed). Next the hotel condition. Aside from the poor paint, and mismatched decor, the ice machines were broken (again, summer in Phoenix)the AC in the elevators didn't work, the elevator broke down (no one on board), and the staff pointed fingers at each other whenever there was a problem. The internet connection was down and the beds were only slightly more comfortable than a hotel room. There were more problems, but there were some good points, entirely dealing with location. The hotel is right at a Metro light rail transit station, and close by some really good restaurants. However, the experience would have been better at a low rate motel.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a seminar that was held there. My room looked clean, but I have allergies to animals and I coughed and sneezed for 2 days while in the room. The next day confirmed my suspicions a lady came in the resturant from her room with a long hair dog that she took over to the breakfast buffet in her arms and started fixing her food. After she put the dog down she rubed her hands over the food and you could see the dog hair flying in the air. Also the diningroom service was very poor. I waited 1 hour for a sandwich and there was only 1 couple in there. I have another class there, but I will stay at another hotel and eat somewhere else too..

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 45Okay for the Money, Probably won't stay again
To begin with, the door to our room was open when we got there, kinda scary since we didn't check in until about 12:45am. The whole back wall was a window that faced the parking lot which was pretty neat because our vehicle just happened to be parked right in front of it! HOWEVER, there was a sheer curtain covering it, and nothing else... The shower was completely open. It had a curtain, but when you turn the shower on, water goes everywhere... seems pretty dangerous, nice concept but there should at least be a lip to hold the water in... also, we forgot our shampoo and had to use the shampoo provided, which looked like it had either already been used or just refilled...when I pulled the sheets back, there was a hair in the bed... not really something you want to see at a hotel...there was a coffee maker in the room, the hotel provided water, but the bottle of water had already been opened...kinda gross. There was no way we were going to use that water. Maybe we just came on a bad day, but the way I feel at this moment, I don't want to stay there again which is unfortunate since that location is perfect for us.

This hotel is okay but our room was falling apart. The lamps above the bed were barely attached and really needed to be replaced as well the socket where they were plugged in behind the beds were loose. The toilet used too much water as well.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 45Fairly spartan
Bed was one of the most spartan ones we've seen in a long time. It felt like there was almost no mattress on a boxspring. Sheets and blankets were very, very basic. Hotel staff were very helpful and location is great for downtown events.
