Nice Hotel for the money

The hotel was nice and I would stay there again.

Great service for a great price

We took advantage of the Hotels.com last minute deals for our room and were pleasantly surprised by the service from the staff, the cleanliness of our room, and the breakfast provided by the motel. We had a complimentary micro-fridge in our room which were also not expecting. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Salibury.

Room was ok for the money

The staff here was extremely friendly and the service was wonderful. My complaints have to do mainly with the upkeep of the building. I was expecting a non smoking room, which I got, but of course at some point, had been smoked in as the pillows, and bed smelled like smoke. The interior of the entire building was humid and musty. The floor of our room had an actual hole in it covered by carpet. We had to be careful where our daughter was stepping. The walls were dingy, and there was a major patch job done that wasn't even repainted! The tile on the bathroom floor had been repaired, and the repairman did a horrible job! The continental breakfast leaves something to be desired. We were surprised however, to find when we checked out, that we actually received a lower rate than we had originally booked, what a lovely surprise. Room was still just ok for what we paid however.

Pleasent surprise

Shorlty after I checked in, I received a call from the front desk to make sure everything was OK. Don't recall that ever happening before. The desk clerk was very helpful.

Great room for the money

I was surprised when I walked in the room. It was big and very home like. I would defentley stay there again if I get out that way. Very happy.

basic accomodations

Nice quiet room, beds & pillows pretty comfortable. Continental breakfast was lame compared to other hotels I've stayed at. There are no elevators so you do have to lug your luggage up & down the stairs. Basic room, clean & quiet. Good for a few nights if you're only looking for a place to sleep

Decent value

The room was adaquite for our needs. The bed was great. we had a issue with the heating / cooling unit for our room, the ac shut off in the middle of the night and we awoke to the fire alarm going off in the room at 4:30am because the unit had heated the room up to 96 degrees. We went to the front desk and someone came up and shut it off but is still did not work correctly, we were not offered another room. and left a day early. They should have offered us another room od gave a discount on the price because no attempt was made to repair the unit.
