Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 8could have been better
the lobby was nice but after that it slowly went down hill. i thought the rooms should be nicer. they wasnt as nice as the lobby.. i had to wear socks because the carpet felt nasty. the elevator was slow and u had to push up to go down. so for the price we wasnt happy, thought it was going to be nicer.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 8Westgate Myrtle Beach
I was not impressed with this hotel. Housekeeping didn't come two days out of the week we stayed and we had to call and request towels. The room was very small and did not have any storage space. The name of the hotel had Resort in it so I thought the place would be alot nicer than it was. It turns out our room was in the old part of the hotel and is scheduled to be torn down by 2013. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 8Out dated Hotel, dirty rooms, smelly but great location
This is the dilemma: Hotel is on the beach! Great location but not very well maintained, the rooms smell, they are dirty, carpet sticky due to humidity. Staff is OK but the hotel is outdated, noisy hallways, old building this is not well kept. They are expanding next door and they plan to remodel this side of the hotel but I recommend shopping around. We did not like this hotel at all, shop around and use well known brands. We had an issue with the Voice message light blinking since we got to the room, we called about it twice and mentioned it to staff but nothing got done. Light on telephone keeps blinking which can be annoying!

The interior of the room was neat but all the furnishings needed replacing. There was a table but no chair whatsoever. The room was indicative of one I'd expect to see on skid Row. I will not stay there again nor will I recommend that anyone does.

i was so disgusted with the condition of the hotel room, the floors were full of stiains and there were bugs in my bed, every morning room service would come and even though you decline room i had to get up and go to the door in order to give a signature that I did not want the room service. also the room was small barely enough room to walk around between the bed and the tv stand. the only plus was that the hotel staff was friendly and the bar down by the pool was facing the beach and really nice. I would not recmmend this hotel

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 8OK Room...could have stayed cheaper next door
The room was ok. It was clean for the most part, but it was always humid and the carpet always felt damp on your feet. For a "cheap stay" it was alright...had a great location....At the time we went we could have stayed at the same type of hotel for about 1/2 the price.

Not enough parking for guests. We actually had to park across the street and fight traffic to walk back to the hotel.
