Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 771Great room for the money
Excellent hotel for the money. There were no long lines at check in and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and nice. I've stayed in lots of hotels where the rooms were not as nice and paid a lot more. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Vegas.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 771Outstanding service and room.
I arrived at 2:00p.m, check-in wasn't until 4:00p.m but they allowed me to check in. The room was spacious, clean and smelled clean. After living in Vegas for 35 years, I have seen some places not so nice, but was really a nice treat staying at the Riviera.Room complete with a refrigerator, flat screen TV.Hotel was really quite and the bed was perfect.I would stay there again. Plus the hotel does not charge a resort fee as so many are doing these days.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 771More bang for the buck
The Riviera Hotel beginning with Staff at the Registration Desk are most obliging and very professional. Overall, I always try to stay at the Riviera because it is near my business and easy to get in and out. Don't forget to try the Hotels best restaurant "Kady's". Salads are the best and service is outstanding.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 771Great Value - Hotel is a little tired but in great spot and nice rooms
At the price I paid I was expecting much worse. I travel 100 days a year for work so was ready. My room was like a courtyard room in a casino a short walk from convetion center. I would stay again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 771Decent Room but Hard Beds
The beds could have been more comfortable. They were very hard and I woke up with stiff back. I know you go to Vegas to do other things than watch TV but the channel lineup was very measly.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 771Very pleasantly surprised!
The rooms were newly renovated and very nice. Far more than I expected for that price. I think we were in the Monaco tower.

i went out for a friend's birthday. they had booked their room a few weeks before i had, and so had gotten an even cheaper rate. still, i feel my rate was pretty good. when we checked in, both of our rooms were upgraded for free. i appreciated that the clerk could and did. my only complaint was on late check out. at the riviera, they charge you an extra $10 to check out at 1pm. at the other vegas hotels i have stayed at, staying til 1p was free. overall, i remain satisfied. right next door to the peppermill (try their ribs. have a blue hawaiian while you're at it). nice piece of vegas history. see it while you can; you never know what the future holds in that temporary city.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 771New rooms are awesome!
The first night we were there for the National Pool tournament they were not able to accommodate our smoking room request. The non-smoking rooms are newly renovated with wonderfully comfortable beds and very nice decor. The rest of the stay we opted to forgo some of the comfort for smoking rooms, which were very standard and had not been renovated. The staff was awesome.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 771EXCELLENT ROOM FOR THE MONEY
I have been to Las Vegas a few times and usually stay near center strip and I try to stay at the somewhat newer places however I had a last minute flight a day early so I had to make a last minute reservation for one night for myself since my friends were coming out the next day. I decided to go with an inexpensive hotel since I would be checking in after 10pm and checking out in the morning to go over to our other hotel. I have always known the Riviera to be an older hotel so I expected it to be run down and was completely surprised when I checked in the casino was decent, the pool area was great and my room well exceeded my expectations. It was clean, remodeled, and comfortable. It is a bit of a walk to get anywhere but so is everywhere else in Vegas. I just have to rave about the room, the bed was amazingly comfortable, the room was clean, I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little bang for their buck.
