So many hotels downtown, go ELSEWHERE

I'll start off by saying that when I pay a lot for a hotel, I demand a lot. Omni falls short. From the check in staff having a little attitude, to the room not looking at all like the pics, cleanliness being so/so, to the part that ruined my stay. The bed was horrible! I couldn't sleep at all on it, lumpy, old, just not up to par. For a hotel at this price, I expect a lot more. I will not return here, and recommend people reading this to go elsewhere. There are hotels in downtown that will appreciate your business.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We do apologize that our front office staff had a little attitude. We want our guests to feel welcome when they arrive. A comfortable bed is such an important part of picking a hotel. All of our king, queen and double beds are Serta mattresses with double-sided Advance Comfort Quilt pillowtops and feature innerspring coils and perimeter edge foam. However we do understand that a bed can’t provide everyone with the same level of comfort. We do offer rollaway beds and sleeper sofas, but unfortunately we do not have alternative mattresses. We certainly appreciated your business, and we hope you will consider staying with us in the future.

Rude Staff

While the location of the hotel is perfect, the staff would need training on how to treat guests. Apparently they have forgotten that they rely on guests and not the other way around.

Expected Much More

My wife and I spent a weekend here and found things to look great on the surface, but ended up being below our expectations for the price. Being a busy weekend, all rooms were booked and since we booked through hotels.com, we were given a smoking room (being told we were given the run of the house). Only by insisting on a move did they "find" us a new room. The room we ended up with was clean and nice, but rather than charging for Internet by day, as stated on the bold print, every time we logged out and logged back in, we incurred another charge of $9.95. So if you plan on using the Internet frequently, then be sure to sign up for the unlimited package. Valet was also less than responsive, no bellhop at 11:00 when we returned on a Friday, and were given a hard time for not keeping our claim ticket when they handed all copies to us. When we checked out, they couldn't find our car and didn't bother to tell the bellman despite us waiting half an hour before we approcahed them and then they looked into where our car ended up. Again, nice room,great location, and clean hotel, but not worth the cost, the lack of service, the general lack of responsiveness for hotels.com customers, and a poor valet experience (at $49 per nigh!).

To expensive for what you get

Small junior suite, I guess by the name I should have known. Food very expensive for just being OK. Service was good, but not great. 50 dollars a day to park, what a bargain. All in all if you didn't care about the money this place would be ok

Great Location- Staff is not "At your service!"

Have always enjoyed this hotel- but after coming from a business trip in Atl- this hotel truly falls short of being "at your service" which should be expected from a 4 star. The bell captains out front were very attentive which was welcoming- but it was down hill from there (and I have generally found that to be the case at this hotel.) Never got the feeling that the rest of the staff was even interested in ensuring your stay went well. The in room dining could use some updating. Forgot that overnight parking was $43!!! Watch out for the operator because she will snap! Had to call several times to get through to front desk and she seemed quite annoyed- not the hostess with the mostest! Although- room cleanliness- which is tops for frequent travelers is very good here. Had forgotten something in the room- the 1800 customer service never called back- the front desk guy gave a canned call back tomorrow- "wait- how about telling me you'll do something now and get back to me??- Never heard back from them- as he promised- but when I finally got through to the security- he was great- perhaps all the other folks should have given me his name and number from the get go! Have enjoyed it in the past- but will look to try a new venue when next in Chi town.
