The hotel room was in great condition, however as far as amenities go, the Hilton is famous for charging for everything.

Cutting costs at guests' expense

Very disappointing to find that the once very nice and "full-service" bar/cafe, "Connelly's Pub" has cut back substantially on it's menu selection, but jacked it's prices ridiculously high for low quality food. The corned beef ruben sandwich featured highly processed meat with the color and appearance of corned beef, but with a flavor like tangy...well...processed meat! And it "only" cost about $18.00! The chicken satay took nearly 1/2 hour to deliver and consisted of three small skewered bits of undercooked chicken with a "peanut-flavored" dipping sauce the consistency of thin gruel. Served on a thick bed of various greens saturated in too much lemony dressing, that "appetizer" sold for a remarkable $17.00! The once fine establishment, "Berkshires" has quit serving dinners, but continues with breakfast and lunch. The "all-you-can-eat" breakfast buffet I enjoyed offered all manner of nice breakfast selections, but was surely not worth the $24.00 charged. The staff in all quarters of the hotel were friendly and considerate. And all to whom I voiced my comments (above), including bellmen, waitstaff and bartenders, agreed that the quality of food service has "plummeted." When next needing overnight lodging near Logan, I will research other accommodations nearby (e.g. Embassy Suites). I'll not return to the Logan Hilton.

Let's face it, you stay here because it's at the airport. We stayed one night because our flight left at 6:20am, and didn't want any unexpected travel problems. the staff was friendly, but couldn't even give us direction on how to navigate to the airport (other than a shuttle the leaves every 15mins) fact is the hotel is directly connected to terminal E and you can walk to any of the terminals within about 15min, but the bell capt. didn't even know this. There was nothing for my children to do. I wouldn't stay two nights, and would consider a hotel on the subway line (which provides access to the airport via the blue and silver lines) the next time i travel to Boston.

HOTEL HORROR AT 1AM

After a conversation with customer support that a cheaper rate from competitors website not being matched because my rate was "guaranteed" king non-smoking as opposed to competitors, Even though I told them that theirs and competitors said preferences not guaranteed, I was assured it was. Well when I got to the hotel at 1am, to my surprise they only had smoking rooms. The hotel agreed to put me up in a smoking room that didn't smell so much cause they had nothing else. After fighting it for an hour, we tried it and not only did it smell but the a/c didn't work. so after a patient discussion with the hotel manager, she found a accessible room that was smoking but was better smelling, and even agreed to send up the key to the new room. As we waited for a half hour, someone tried to get in our room: the next guest that checked into the hotel was given the bad smelling room we were still in waiting for the key!! after 10 minutes with the lady waiting at our room, the new keys showed up for us. Finally we went to bed at 2am. And to top it off the hotel never gave us the wake-up call we requested. I could have missed my flight. Also they tout themselves for being connected to the airport, but you have to take a shuttle from the front doors to the airport anyway. This experience stinked for such a supposed upscale hotel.

Service was slow if at all.

We were staying at the Hilton Logan Airport hotel overnight to catch a flight in the am. Upon arrival we requested a crib for our infant which took 1.5hrs to receive after making 3 phone calls. The ice machine on the 4th floor where we stayed was empty, not vending machines available and the hotel lobby shop was closed and this was 4pm on a Saturday. It was an extreme dissappointment for my family in a hotel where more is expected if not just for the name and claim of excellence from the Hilton Family.

The room was ok and the staff were kind and attentive. However, the hotel is not in the "Suite" category. The exterior of the hotel is more like a Motel.

Be prepared to spend for everything

Seriously, the rate was great for the room, however everything in the hotel was severely overpriced; even for a hotel. I was not pleased at all with the food, althought the service was phenominal. This hotel is fine for traveling on business however there is no value added for a family stay at all.

Needs improvement

Stayed overnight on our way to see granchildren in Fl.The only thing my wife was looking foward to was a nice hot bath. Bathroom was so cold we couldn't take a nice refreshing bath,there was a big hole in the ceiling where I guess there used to be a heater, and the bathtub would not hold water.Just kept leaking out.When we called room service to get condiments for coffee, we received two packs of sugar and two creames when we asked for six.Room service was also very slow. Outside our room the view was nice, including two dead birds we had to look at.When we left, we were going to tell the girl at the desk about our stay, but she didn't want to hear about it. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to any friends.
