Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 8View was horrible
Although the World Marriot is very well maintained for a hotel that has been around,there is a little more to be desired. There is nothing they can do about the low ceilings in the rooms that makes you feel somewhat closed in, however, the renovation made in 2005 makes up for it. I didn't like the fact that I was facing a roof top, overlooking a parking lot. The balcony did no justice, when you are opening the sliders to nothing but a loud a/c sound (I believe I was right on top of a main unit) Vacation is not a vacation when your view reminds you of a factory to say the least, I would have preferred to have a view of the lobby at a minimum. The breakfast that was included was well worth it. It was well maintained, the cooks, and waiters were very friendly and there was a good variety to pick from. side from the view, low ceilings, I would recommend this hotel.

The employees are great and the pool is out standing the only draw back is the rooms and the parking. The rooms are very small so it will be uncomfortable for more than 2 people, they were clean. The parking is either valet or self , either way you have use up to an hour to get something out of your car if you forget it while unpacking..

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 8Rude, Unfriendly staff
-some of the elevators were broken -We were double charged for valet parking, hotel unwilling to credit other fee. -Asked for help to find business center but was given 3 different answers. It took almost a half hour to find -No one asked to help us with our bags -concierge person was rude and condescending when i asked about Disney tickets Very dissatisfied by the service from a hotel that charges you for EVERYTHING. I will NEVER stay here again.

While i was thier my room was under re-construction and i was never told about this and also i never got the pool view i paid for. Also i woke up the first morning to banging on my roof and at least 5 workers on my balcony....Not a good stay!

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 8Good for conventions but not for family trip
When we stayed the hotel, there was a huge convention going on at the site. All public spaces were busy, could not get any seats in the restaurants. Also, the self parking garage is too far from the main lobby. We could not let our two small children walk that distance.
