Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 45Great hotel in Tokyo
My wife and I figured to splurge a bit upon arriving in Japan for a two week vacation. Spent the first 3 nights at the Keio Plaza in Shinjuku. This was a great choice! Having lived in Japan for 5 years, I was prepared for the small rooms, etc. but the Keio's rooms are spacious and the view is fantastic. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station and located in a great neighborhood. Pricier than a 'Business Hotel', but well worth it as you recover from a long trip.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 45Right Place, Right Style
We have stayed here three times and find the staff and experience great every time. The hotel is especially convenient--located near a new subway line and across from the Municipal Gvt Building with its free observation towers on the 45th floors. Bellman staff very helpful and all the services you could need.

Excellent service and staff along with great location made for an outstanding hotel which I would highly recommend. The expresso machine in their room is just fantastic!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 45Great location, amenities, service, but can be smokey
We stayed in the main tower and the ONLY complaint was that we had asked for a non-smoking room. They did not have any available. Although the room was not too bad with the smoke smell, outside in the hallway it was terrible. The new tower had non-smoking floors and they were all booked up. I would stay again, if I were guaranteed a non-smoking floor.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 45Location
It was very convenient location. Didn't like lobby's seating. It was right by the door and wind was blowing so hard and very cold. They should have more seating available.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 45Perfect for the Tokyo marathon!
Very conveniently located a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station (2nd largest of Tokyo, direct line to Narita airport) and right next to the Government building! This is perfect as the marathon starts right there. so you can go drop your bag at the starting line and go back to the warmth of your room instead of waiting too long outside ! However, this is not the most modern hotel i ever stayed at and was a bit disapointed for the quality of the room and its general feel. I was clearly expecting more for a 'Deluxe room'. Nevertheless, it was clean and the bed confortable enough.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 45Fantastic Location! Wonderful lounge!
Across the street from the Municipal Gvt Building which has a free observation deck on the 45th floor--outstanding views. Live music and great service in the hotel's own 45th floor lounge. Other dining options very expensive--ate in surrounding locales.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 45Great Service. Great Location. Stayed in South Tower.
The hotel service is outstanding, and the location within Shinjuku is hard to beat. Stayed in the Plaza Comfort room in the South Tower. Had access to the lounge on the top floor with free drinks and snacks, massage chairs, and a very helpful host. However, the Plaza Comfort room in the South Tower, while a good size for Japan hotel, is a bit dated. The walls are a bit thin as we heard people talking and sneezing in the next room. We could also hear people stomping around upstairs.
